We're talking about whether Coventry can sustain this level against Premier League opponents. Looking at who Mark Robins can bring on, I think they can.

  2. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Kasey Palmer shows good persistence to get past two Wolves men, but Coventry have to go backwards and the ball in from Jake Bidwell is a poor one and a promising move comes to nothing.

At the other end, just as in the first half, Rayan Ait-Nouri is involved. He cuts in and shoots on his weaker right foot, but it is always going well wide.

I wonder how many Coventry fans would choose a potential FA Cup final run over a top-six finish? Regardless of the result, the good vibes are back in Coventry.

Coventry get the game back under way. Remember, if it's level at 90 minutes we go to extra time and maybe even penalties.

Should be 1-0 Coventry. Chances need to be taken, especially against Prem opposition. But Robins will be pleased. Press, press, and press for Coventry. This isn't over by a long way. Re. Gaz at 1241. I think the whole country would see it as a breath of fresh air. The memories of Wigan and Ben Watson spring to mind. I'd dearly love to see a non Prem side lift the trophy again, as a passionate football fan.

This is the first of the four FA Cup quarter-finals. Later on today comes Manchester City v Newcastle (17:30 GMT) and that one is on BBC One with our programme starting at 17:10 GMT.

Tomorrow sees Chelsea entertain Championship leaders Leicester City (12:45 GMT) and that one is also on BBC One from 12:20 GMT. After that comes the tasty Manchester United v Liverpool tie at 15:30 GMT.

Fifteen minutes after the end of that match will be time for the semi-final draw.

  7. 'Coventry have asked most of the questions'published at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Coventry have been excellent. They've come here, not set back, they've tried to make things happen, created the best opportunities. Jose Sa has made one excellent save. Coventry have asked most of the questions.

Wolves have been good box to box, but they've not carried any threat. They are missing goals with no Neto and no Hwang and we're seeing that.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Just as a cup quarter-final should be - fast, frantic and passionate.

Both sides have had spells when they have been on top, but been unable to convert that pressure into a goal.

The best chance of the half fell to Coventry's Ellis Simms, only for him to fail to score from five yards out. And breathe.

A bit of a scramble near the Coventry goal from Mario Lemina's curled strike. Nathan Fraser tries to bundle it home, but under pressure can only prod it wide of goal.

I only mentioned a couple of minutes ago whether Coventry would have a better chance than the one Ellis Simms wasted.

I am not sure they have but they have had two more decent opportunities since then.

The visitors are using their physical strength to bully Wolves, who are unsure of how to deal with it.

    Coventry should be leading.

Wolves couldn't get near Coventry for around two and a half minutes there, the hope was that a finish would come at the end of it and it did, but it's just a passed volley straight at the goalkeeper in the end.

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Coventry ending the half on top. Ellis Simms plays a cushioned square ball inside the Wolves penalty area and Kasey Palmer tries to side-foot it home on the volley, but the effort lacks any sort of conviction and it is straight at Jose Sa.

How happy will Wolves be that Jose Sa has stayed on the pitch? Again, it should be an opening goal for Coventry. Ellis Simms drives at the defence, lays it off for Van Ewijk and his shot does a loop-the-loop over the bar.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 40 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Another great chance for Coventry. Ellis Simms slides a pass right to Milan van Ewijk and he strikes at goal, but Jose Sa had closed the angle well, the ball hits the keeper and loops up over the bar. That goes down as a great save to keep it 0-0.

That was one of those instinctive efforts for Ellis Simms and he didn't get his feet in the right place to turn the ball towards what was an open goal on his right side.

VAR might have been checking for offside but without a flag that has to go down as a huge opportunity missed.

I wonder if Coventry will get a better one?

  16. 'Coventry will look back on that one'published at 37 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a big chance. Coventry will look back on it and it should've hit the back of the goal. Palmer with a good shot. Bidwell confused his own striker, everyone stopped and he squared it to Ellis Simms, who didn't expect it and completely mis-kicked it.

  17. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

Ellis Simms just has to score for Coventry. It is the best phase for the visitors and they should be ahead.

Two hat-tricks in his past four games, but he has missed a huge chance today.

Kasey Palmer's shot is clawed away by Jose Sa, showing good mobility after his earlier injury scare. But the ball falls to Coventry and it is played back into the middle and Simms is there five yards out and central.

But instead of slotting into the net, hits it straight at a very relieved Sa.

  18. 'It's become scrappy for Coventry'published at 12:48 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's just become a little bit scrappy for Coventry. The energy they used to go man-to-man has gone. Wolves are able to pick out the gaps because of their Premier League quality.

They've looked a threat whenever they've moved the ball. It's a brilliant delivery and somehow, they've been able to get it behind to stop Ellis Simms getting a finish on goal.

  19. GOOD SAVE!published at 31 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

This is a strong phase for the hosts. Nelson Semedo is free in the box and strikes hard and low at goal, but Bradley Collins is in the right spot to get his body behind it and keep out the shot.

  20. 'Coventry get away with it'published at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-0 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wolves are trying to create Coventry all sorts of problems, Sarabia is the one they are currently struggling the most to pick out. They keep looking to the left side to pick out Lemina for the long diagonal balls.

It was Coventry's own fault for getting themselves into the situation, it comes Jose Sa, who can clearly hit a long ball. Bentley is rooted to his spot. Nelson Semedo does really well but somehow, Coventry get away with it.
