  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 31 March

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

Poor free-kick. And now come the changes. Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku are on for Mateo Kovacic and Phil Foden.

Foden was the hero against Manchester United not so long ago. This has not been one of his better days.

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

Phil Foden goes down about 30 yards out after a hefty challenge. Free-kick to the hosts as Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku get ready to come on.

Pep Guardiola has turned to his bench to ask Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku to warm up. I think he's going to take Phil Foden off, he's not been at his best today.

  4. Postpublished at 17:47 British Summer Time 31 March

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

Pep Guardiola has ordered his substitutes to warm up. Jack Grealish and Oscar Bobb are among those who jump to their feet and make their way to the sidelines.

Corner to Manchester City. It is whipped in by Phil Foden but Ben White makes the clearance. It does not go far but the home attack is ended by an offside flag. Kevin de Bruyne looks frustrated.

Eight yellows in the Liverpool/Brighton game and none in Man City/Arsenal as yet. Consistency is an imaginary concept in the Premiership refereeing handbook.

Lots of noise inside the Etihad now. This is a different game. Both sides are playing much more open football and the chances are starting to come.

Anthony Taylor needs to get a grip on the game. He still hasn't cautioned anybody. I don't know what his tactics are here.

  10. CLOSE!published at 17:42 British Summer Time 31 March

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

Now a chance for Arsenal as Bukayo Saka sends a delicious ball fizzing across City's six yard area. Gabriel Jesus comes steaming in but is unable to connect.

Then Kevin de Bruyne goes down after a challenge.

Still Anthony Taylor keeps his cards in his pocket - but for how much longer? The tackles are flying.

  11. Postpublished at 17:39 British Summer Time 31 March

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

This is much more open. Bukayo Saka is sent sprawling but referee Anthony Taylor allows play to carry on. Then Mikel Arteta is unhappy after a challenge goes against Gabriel.

Watching Man City play such a contrast to the Liverpool v Brighton match earlier. Like watching opera straight after going to a rock concert!!

Pep Guardiola was clearly not happy with that first half showing. City are playing with much more urgency but Arsenal are so well organised. The Gunners are working so hard off the ball.

Man City are just playing the game they always play. They're waiting for the gap, waiting for the opportunity to play.

  15. CLOSE!published at 17:36 British Summer Time 31 March

    Man City 0-0 Arsenal

Still no yellow cards in this high-stakes game.

City have come flying out of the blocks for the second half and Mateo Kovacic goes so close with a curling effort from distance.

That came after a clever build-up featuring Rico Lewis.

Arsenal have a deeper/better bench than City, so if this stays goalless at the 60-minute mark, they may have the advantage.

It's all a bit tense and scrappy, which perhaps not surprising given the stakes on offer.

    FT: Liverpool 2-1 Brighton

    Liverpool

More from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: "It's all about reacting - if we learn something this year, it's definitely that we can do these things. I don't take it for granted. I would prefer to be 3-0 up early in the game and then 7-0 up after 85 minutes, then I would calm down - unfortunately that doesn't happen so you have trust in the game and you try to do the right things in the right moments.

"There were so many top performances today - yes, the finishing boots were not exactly fitting but it's not a problem, we scored two and conceded one, and won the game so all good. I can promise you neither Pep or Mikel are in the dressing room at the moment thinking 'oh my God, Liverpool won' - they focus on what they are doing, we focus on what we are doing.

"We follow, we watch what the others are doing but we have no influence. We have to win football games - I would love to say it is great to put pressure on them but they don't feel it - if they win a game and then we are playing, it's not as if we are shaking before the game, we just have to do a job and we will see. We wanted three points, we got them, perfect."

Cagey game, no risks neither football. City’s system limited due to injuries. Arsenal playing not-to-lose and awaiting a mistake to pounce. Kind of chess game.
