Huge Liverpool fan, but I still can't understand how we are top of the league. Maybe tonight I'll still not understand if we somehow win it. Don't deserve anything based on the first 45 mins. Diaz has been off form for some time now understandably, but this has been a frustrating watch. Nothing on the bench either so I don't have much hope.

    Michael

Can't see Luton hanging on to a one goal lead.

    Mike

You know that Liverpool will win this eventually! 2 quick goals and it will be curtains for Luton.

Jurgen Klopp is back out early for the start of the second half. He takes his seat in the dug out a good few seconds before his players start to emerge.

The Liverpool boss, understandably, looks thoroughly grumpy.

If we look at Liverpool’s performances they may be top, but Arsenal and City have been playing the better football. Liverpool needed a lot of last minute goals and second half comebacks. I think this will catch up with them in the title run in and they will drop more points.

    Paul

If Liverpool drop points here, you might as well hand City the title now. Arsenal will fall off and flop as they always do, City will be the only ones to hold any consistency from this point onwards. Liverpool need to get all three points here tonight.

Liverpool are trailing at half-time in a Premier League home game for the first time this season. Last season, the Reds did not lose any of the four league games at Anfield in which they were behind at the break (W1-D4-L0).

Re. Pete at 20:10. Liverpool have gone behind in several games this season, even when Salah and Nunez were playing. Time to judge Klopp's decisions is after the final whistle.

Cauley Woodrow goes into Andy Madley's notebook after a foul on Jarell Quansah. There are signs of frustration all around Anfield at the moment. Liverpool know the momentum at the top of the table will swing away from them if they don't win this.

If either Salah or Nunez could have started tonight then Klopp has made a bad call. The Premier League is more important than the cup.

A word on Luton. They have come with a game-plan and they are executing it to perfection. Rob Edwards will be a proud man.

Love Luis Diaz. There was a comment in the Gossip page a few weeks back that Liverpool might sell him; I was devastated. Tonight shows how valuable he is.
