Really excellent play from Emile Smith Rowe to set up that goal. The Arsenal fans were clapping the pass after they celebrated the goal. The Gunners have been so dominant this half.

Arsenal have a second just before the break!

More great work from Emile Smith Rowe as he plays the ball into the box from the left and Reiss Nelson makes a run for it, causing Daiki Hashioka to turn into his own net under pressure.

Hard to see Luton getting back into this one now, despite a good initial response to Arsenal's first goal.

Still waiting for a goal in this one as Adam Lallana has a pop from range. Decent effort but it sails wide.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:13 British Summer Time 3 April

    Arsenal 1-0 Luton

Another decent save by Thomas Kaminski as he gets down at his near post to keep out Kai Havertz's low strike.

Alfie Doughty's clearance soon after then rebounds off Thomas Partey's leg and behind for a goal kick. That could have gone anywhere, including in the back of the Luton net.

  6. Pick of the statspublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 3 April

Man City v Aston Villa (20:15 BST)

    • Manchester City have won 17 of their past 18 Premier League home games against Aston Villa, including the past 13, since a 2-0 loss in April 2007.
    • Following their 1-0 win at Villa Park in December, Aston Villa are looking to secure their first league double over City since the 1962-63 campaign.
    • City have won 27 of their past 29 Premier League games played on a Wednesday, with their sole defeat in that run coming against Villa in this season's reverse fixture.
    • Villa’s shot conversion rate is 14.4% this season, their highest on record (since 1997-98) in a Premier League campaign. In the same timeframe, their record of 14.4 shots per game is their third-highest in a season, after 2002-03 (16.2) and 2001-02 (14.7).

Teden Mengi does really well to hold off Kai Havertz inside the box and then clear the danger.

Mengi then attempts to build a Luton attack but sends an ambitious long ball out of play.

Ross: With Martinez out, I don’t suppose Man City would shake hands on a draw now? Surely they don’t want the hassle of having to play and potentially get more injuries? Let’s just skirt around their probable heavy heavy victory with our traffic cone now in goal.

    Arsenal 1-0 Luton

Thomas Kaminski makes a really good save to keep out Emile Smith Rowe's curled effort inside the box, before play is stopped because a couple of Luton players need some treatment.

This is a concern for Hatters boss Rob Edwards, who already has almost a full team out injured.

Chances for both sides in quick succession as first Ivan Toney turns his marker inside the Brighton box, but can only prod a shot at Bart Verbruggen, before Joao Pedro forces Mark Flekken to dive onto his near-post effort.

Former Tottenham player Andros Townsend is booed every time he touches the ball for Luton. His crosses into the box have given the visitors their most dangerous moments so far when they've been able to get up the pitch.

I thought some of the criticism of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland after Sunday's draw with Arsenal was well over the top.

It is not Haaland's fault City did not create enough opportunities for him - it is down to players such as Kevin de Bruyne, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva to make those chances.

To compare Haaland to a League Two player, which is how Roy Keane described him on Sky, is just ridiculous.

It doesn't matter who gets the goals against Aston Villa, but City cannot allow the gap to leaders Liverpool to get any bigger than three points.

Villa will make it tough for them and carry plenty of attacking threat themselves, but this is a must-win for Pep Guardiola's side... and I think they will win.

    Prediction: 2-1

Man City v Aston Villa (20:15 BST)

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Aston Villa have been incredible this season. To think where they are now, unbeaten in 5 league away matches.

They had a little blip a few weeks back, losing 4-0 at home to Tottenham, but since then they have been flying.

They put Ajax to the sword over two legs in Europe and they have really started to look liek they are back to their best, the same confidence they had at the start of the season.

    A huge mistake again.

Luton try to play out and get caught, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu tries to overplay and Emile Smith Rowe presses high to win the ball back and the goal comes from there.

It could be a very long game from here on in.

That Arsenal goal actually seems to have sparked Luton into life with Andros Townsend proving a menace down the right.

First, his cutback is scrambled away before a ball into the box is just over Carlton Morris' head.

  20. 'Keeping Brentford in the Premier League puts Frank in the frame for jobs'published at 19:55 British Summer Time 3 April

    Brentford 0-0 Brighton

    Steve Bruce
Ex Manchester United defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brentford have been going along nice and quietly for a few years now, they are a well run club, recruitment and selling ability is incredible.

The ability to keep Brentford in the Premier League is what keeps Thomas Frank at the forefront of conversations and in the frame of most jobs that come up.

Everyone likes him, a huge personality it seems, and a very good coach. Whether he will ever get the chance at one of the top jobs I don't know, but you wish him all the best with it.
