I also find it boring when teams low block against Arsenal or Liverpool. It’s not just a City problem. Not sure why they get so much ‘boring’ stick when it’s the same with any top club against a lower. What do people expect?

    Brentford 0-0 Sheff Utd

The biggest noise of the day as fans stand and applaud after substitute Ivan Toney is instructed to warm up on the sidelines. That tells you everything about this game.

Ederson hasn't played in over a month and he's so bored he does that thing you do on computer games where you bring a goalkeeper out for a dribble because you're in complete control of the game.

  5. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 13 April

    Man City 1-0 Luton

Andros Townsend has to hook behind a dangerous cross but City can't capitalise with the set-piece and Julian Alvarez bends it over the bar.

    Brentford 0-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United's defence is doing a decent job at keeping Brentford at bay. It's not a great game, to be honest.

Wolves have grown into this half. Still just the one shot on target though - that one from Pablo Sarabia that needed Murillo to intervene.

  8. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 13 April

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

Wilson Odobert is Burnley's most threatening player. He creates space for himself just outside the Brighton box but fails to hit the target with his finish.

  9. Postpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 13 April

    Man City 1-0 Luton

Matheus Nunes gets in the way of Mateo Kovacic's shot but City have another corner. Luton are hanging on a bit now.

  10. Postpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 13 April

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

That's another decent Brighton attack but Joao Pedro's pass across the six yard area is hacked clear before a blue and white shirt can connect.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

Mario Lemina comes crashing in on Ryan Yates and it's not a pretty challenge. He's in the book for it.

First time attempt by Mikkel Damsgaard from the edge of the box. High and wide. It's an attempt that sums up this game so far.

Man City are in their stride and doing what they always do.

It seems like a matter of time [till Man City score again], Kevin de Bruyne is pulling all the strings - it's tough for Luton.

  16. 'City upping the tempo'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 13 April

    Man City 1-0 Luton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

City have finally turned the tempo up.

Pep Guardiola was remonstrating with a few of his players a couple of minutes ago, asking them to give a bit more, and now they are suddenly playing that bit quicker and being a bit more direct. Creating more and more opportunities and having more shots on goal.

    Man City 1-0 Luton

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

This entire game is being played in Luton's defensive third. Most of the time the hosts don't have a single outfield player in their half.

City really could do with getting a second to make things a bit more comfortable.

Oh look they've just hit the post.

Maybe if Erling Haaland finds his shooting boots they can add some more goals, things haven't been going for him so far.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:28 British Summer Time 13 April

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

Another gift but this time from Forest to Wolves!

They are caught out playing out from the back inside their own box and Murillo has to make a goalline clearance (which is excellent) from João Gomes, before Pablo Sarabia sends the rebound inches wide with Matz Sels scrambling.

  19. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 13 April

    Burnley 0-0 Brighton

Brighton are enjoying a decent spell of pressure. Arijanet Muric is forced to come racing out of his box to make a clearance. Both sides are finding pockets of space but are struggling to create chances.

  20. Postpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 13 April

    Man City 1-0 Luton

Matheus Nunes fizzes a cross in from the right but there's nobody there to get on the end of it.

Ruben Dias then drills it straight at the goalkeeper.
