Atletico Madrid 1-1 Inter Milan (Agg 1-2)

Atletico manager Diego Simeone is almost on the pitch as he gets heavily involved from the touchline. We could do with VAR to see if he crossed the line (literally).

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSV (Agg 2-1)

WHAT a strike! Goodness me that was moving! Half-time sub Hirving Lozano takes aim from 25 yards out and it pings off the post with Gregor Kobel well and truly beaten.

That's how close PSV came to levelling the tie up. Dortmund just haven't got going since half time.

Really good move by Atletico down the right. It is Llorente who gets it across to Griezmann and he gets something on it but it just can't go past the goalkeeper.

    Threatening for Atletico.

Bizarre reading people defend Ten Hag's treatment of Sancho, he's not the first player the man's fallen out with is he? Regardless, Sancho is on his way to the champions league quarter finals and United are in the race for sixth place. Things work themselves out.

PSV have started the half on top, Dortmund are sitting in and I'm not sure that really suits their style of play. Heavy metal on half volume, not for me.

Lovely move from Atletico but Antoine Griezmann's first-time strike from 16 yards just needs a simple stop from Yann Sommer.

As are all of these. Apart from Endo.

Anon: Best Germany - England move? De Bruyne, Gundogan and Haaland did ok.

James: Michael Ballack for Chelsea has to be up there?

Will: Re best player to come to the prem from the Bundesliga...Haaland?!

Rob: Best Bundesliga export to the Premier League? Endo by the looks of it from his performances over the last few months for Liverpool.

Wonderful by Antoine Griezmann to slide in on Hakan Calhanoglu just as the Inter midfielder is shooting from 20 yards.

Aubameyang? Try a few miles up the road and Son has been far better for far longer.

England have got plenty of options out wide, that's for sure. Has Jadon Sancho got a chance of getting back in?

He does well here, wriggling clear and finding Donyell Malen inside the area, he gets a shot away but it's a comfortable save.

Marcos Llorente says sorry after overhitting a cross to Alvaro Morata. Inter in no rush to take their throw-in.

People seem to have forgotten that whilst Sancho was playing well at Dortmund he was doing the same in an England shirt too. Would be good to see him starting to push for a place in the squad. Can only improve others around that position too.

Atletico straight on the attack. Alvaro Morata steps over Rodrigo de Paul's cross - but there's a defender behind him so Inter have it.

Re Sancho, the PL is a billion times more physical and pacey than the Bundesliga. He isn’t a man of pace, he’s a finisher and is skilful. He did have an attitude yes, but because he couldn’t find his best form.
