Anfield was built for days like today. Fans have been gathering for hours and there is already an electric atmosphere on the streets around the famous ground.

The route the two coaches carrying the teams is already thronged with supporters and red smoke from flares can be seen rising into the air near the ground.

Liverpool have the best home record in the Premier League and are unbeaten in front of their own fans in the competition since October 2022.

Manchester City are unbeaten in their past 20 games in all competitions.

Will home advantage play a part today?

This title race is utterly enthralling.

The top three separated by two points at the business end of the season.

Arsenal did what they needed to do by beating Brentford on Saturday leaving Mikel Arteta to sit back and relax today.

"It will be a great day to watch some fantastic games of football," said Arteta, when asked about his plans for Sunday after three more points.

"It is not in my hands. It is a joy to be part of this league and a joy to be part of something special that we are trying to achieve."

They've been talking about this one for weeks. And rightly so. The stakes are huge.

Both managers have done their best to play down the hype by insisting this is NOT a title decider.

With just 10 games to go after this, however, Liverpool and Manchester City can take a significant step towards lifting the Premier League if they win this.

Anticipation for this blockbuster has reached fever pitch levels in recent days and now we're less than two hours from kick-off.

    Who will triumph?
