    Oh. My. Goodness.

Jeremy Doku's eyes light up as his shot looks to be creeping in but it strikes the post and rebounds into Caoimhín Kelleher's arms.

There were Liverpool fans with heads in their hands for a moment.

You are looking at the big players.

You can see what Guardiola has done he knows that Foden is his most likely so he has tried to get him in a position where maybe he can get the ball in the final third.

He looks much more dangerous when he's in here he's much more involved in the game but not as much as he'd like.

There have been so many quality chances that would usually see this as 5-5 but none taken. The winner will be some kind of freak ping pong ricochet, hitting 4 players, both posts, the crossbar, and in off the keeper's head. But, which keeper?

Two wonderful football teams with two top top coaches, competing at the top of a brilliant league. What a time to be alive. Happy Sunday guys!

    John H, Lancaster

What a delightful watch! Two great teams who have won everything in the last 7 years going head to head. Arteta deserves huge credit for bringing a young Arsenal side into the title mix with these two incredible sides.

The TV cameras have picked out Pep Guardiola in deep discussion with Kevin de Bruyne on City's bench. It's fair to say De Bruyne did not want to come off.

I can’t help thinking Klopp must be protecting Nunez with his recent injury. I would have kept on Nunez and replaced Diaz

Pep’s overthinking is back in important games. It was put on bed last year! But bad habits never dies

The goalkeeper was always there, but it is about how far he could push it away - Ortega got a really strong hand on it.

    Almost a chance for Liverpool!

Jarell Quansah tests Stefan Ortega who just about does enough to prevent the ball falling for Cody Gakpo to finish.

This has been a big test Quansah but the 21-year-old has come through it with flying colours.

Nunez went 'What me, you are taking me off?' just now.

He desperately wanted to stay on but what player wouldn't want to stay on in a game like this. It has been so fascinating to watch.

It has ebbed and flowed huge amounts.

I must say, really in terms of the second half Liverpool would be devastated and it would be unfair if they didn't get at least something out of this game. They have been fabulous in this second half.

Will settle for a title decider on 31 March!

    Neil, Gooner - Tenerife

I find the Anfield faithful's constant booing when the opposition is in possession rather infantile. Cheer your side yes, but appreciate the football.

I think he [Pep] is trying to get Phil Foden central because he has not been involved in the game but he doesn't lack energy and then you can put Silva out a little bit wider.

Kevin De Bruyne reacts with manager Pep GuardiolaImage source, Reuters

It's really strange that [Kevin de Bruyne's reaction to coming off].

The obvious one to take off would have been Silva. De Bruyne has not had a great half but Silva, he's injured and he has not had a great impact on the game so far.

He might have been saying 'why not take him off?'.

But it was very odd - very un-de-Bruyne-like.
