Didn't think I'd ever say this about City (since the 90's) but this could be a smash & grab 2-1 win.

Liverpool are relentless at the moment and should now be ahead. The whole emphasis of the game has changed since Nathan Ake gave away that equaliser and the introduction of Mohamed Salah has fired up Anfield even more - if that were possible.

I think every Liverpool fan is currently getting out of their seat, only to realise it’s Diaz on the end of the ball, and sitting immediately back down.

    Nick, Kent

Diaz could’ve had a hat trick in the last 5 minutes!

Liverpool are controlling the game now.

They are really looking very dangerous but that is not to say they are necessarily going to win it.

Having spent most of the first half on the backfoot, Liverpool are now dominating.

They're all over City who have been rocked by that penalty and the loss of Ederson.

Pep Guardiola is getting ready to send on Mateo Kovacic.

These Liverpool fans absolutely believe in their team, they believe they are not only going to go on to get a point they are going to go on and win this game.

The liveliness that their team have shown in this second half, they are a younger team, they look the younger team.

They have got about the pitch so well in this second half.

You cannot take your eyes off this!

This is turning into a classic.

Kyle Walker makes an important challenge as Luis Diaz is presented with another chance before Mo Salah fires another opportunity wide.

Luis Diaz's first touch couldn't have been any better and you can see what he is trying to do, but it comes off a part of his boot which pushes it away from goal rather than coming back.

Again Diaz has had this game on a plate for him!

    That's a poor miss!

    That should have been 2-1.

You simply cannot blame Ederson for that; Ake sells him short on a very easy backpass, putting his goalkeeper under unnecessary pressure! He either takes him out or allows Nunez to shoot. Either option he would be criticised. Ake has created the problem!

Ederson has tried that sort of thing twice in the last two games. He was just lucky last week that he got a slight touch on the ball before wiping out Garnacho. A rare area of recklessness in possibly the calmest team around.
