He has not had a lot to do has Christy Pym, but when he has had to he has made outstanding saves.

Owen Goodman comes to the rescue again to tip over Will Swan's glancing header from Stephen McLaughlin's inswinging free-kick.

Colchester get themselves a corner and it finds Cameron McGeehan free at the near post, but his glancing header lacks power and is cleared for another corner.

The defenders just stood still, he did not.

Colchester make the first change as Samson Tovide replaces Bradley Ihionvien in attack.

He's almost instantly involved as Harry Anderson's cross drops just in front of Tovide in the six-yard area.

Almost a Mansfield equaliser.

Neat play down the right and a lovely reverse pass from Jordan Bowery sees Davis Keillor-Dunn burst into the box, but his shot ricochets up off U's keeper Owen Goodman.

It could have gone anywhere but goes to safety.
