Karlan Grant is the only threat for Cardiff because he has pace.

Bowler is having a tough time because he's left footed and wants to cut inside but Swansea know that and he's running into Matt Grimes or Joe Allen.

Fully deserved for Swansea. Technically they're better, physically they're better and in terms of the energy they've brought they've been better.

This game is far from over. The warning signs are from the previous games from Swansea - there's work to be done.

Cardiff against Ipswich were 1-0 down with seconds left and won, that won't be forgotten for them.

Yakou Méïté is frustrated because he's up against two centre-halves who are comfortable on the ball and then physically are beating him.

If he's fit enough you have to get Callum O'Dowda on. Let him get at the Swansea right-hand side because Kyle Naughton is having the time of his life, playing almost as a right-wingback.

Give him something to worry about defensively.

Luke Williams must be delighted with Swansea's efforts so far.

From the outset they played like a team intent on exacting revenge for defeat at Cardiff last September.

But Swansea fans will be well aware that there is a long way to go yet, particularly given their habit of failing to maintain momentum in the second halves of numerous recent games.

And Cardiff must improve, mustn't they?

The whistle goes and it is Swansea who deservedly lead, although Luke Williams' may feel his side should be further ahead given their control in that first period.

Cardiff must change something, you would think, and Yakou Meite is the leading candidate to make way given that he looks to be one foul away from a red card.

In truth, he was fortunate not to be dismissed on two occasions in that first half.

If Yakou Meite emerges for the second half, I'll be amazed.

Cardiff manager Erol Bulut is surely going to the replace the forward during half-time - he's a walking red card at the moment.

Now Yakou Meite trips Harry Darling as he drives forward but there is no second booking.

Once again, the Cardiff forward is fortunate.

Swansea are pushing players forward now with their full-backs. But even if Cardiff want to play on the counter, bar Karlan Grant there's no pace in that forward line.

It means you have to pass your way through but that's not part of the game at the moment. Harry Darling is quite happy to go right up on Yakou Méïté and is winning that physical battle.

Another corner follows, with Jamie Paterson's delivery reaching Ronald on the edge of the box.

The Brazilian strikes the ball well but it flies over the bar.

There's not enough in that for me on Perry Ng. Ng finds himself two v one on the back post.

He goes down and gambles on the referee giving it. Liam Cullen is intelligent on the back post, good finish too.

Fully deserved on what we've seen in this first half.

That goal is all about Ronald but it's not just pace, he's intelligent enough to carry the ball 40-50 yards and then stop, finds Kyle Naughton and a clever ball to the back post and Liam Cullen is in acres of space.

Brilliant finish by Cullen but Cardiff aren't happy and think there's a foul on Perry Ng.

Cardiff are unhappy with the goal.

They feel Przemyslaw Placheta fouled Perry Ng in the box as the ball reached Liam Cullen, but the officials are unmoved.

Swansea lead in the south Wales derby and it is one of their academy products, Liam Cullen, who produces a measured finish.

Ronald has a big part in the goal, beating Josh Wilson-Esbrand and driving down the right before picking out Kyle Naughton.

He crosses to the unmarked Cullen at the back post and the Welshman volleys into the far corner.

I don't think the referee is having a great game and he worries me, I think he'll have an impact on how this game is decided.

Cardiff are away from home, it's a hostile crowd and they're playing their part and if it's a 50-50 he'll give it to the home side.

The game has settled down now and it's more even and Cardiff will be feeling more comfortable than they were at the start.

But there haven't been many chances.
