Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England

Group D: Play-off winner A, Netherlands, Austria, France

  2. Euro 2024 play-off latestpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

Wales 0-0 Poland, Ukraine 0-1 Iceland

VAR drama in both of our final Euro 2024 play-offs!

In Cardiff, Wales think they're ahead against Poland when Ben Davies heads in Kieffer Moore's knockdown seconds before half-time.

But the flag is up and the goal is ruled out for offside. That means it remains goalless at the break.

Follow all the action from that game here.

Ukraine, who are playing their home play-off in Polish city Wroclaw because of Russia's ongoing invasion, thought they had equalised against Iceland.

Roman Yaremchuk's effort was also ruled out for an offside, which means Iceland lead 1-0 through Albert Gudmundsson's stunning strike.

The mistakes and scoreline are frustrating but can anyone - other than bitter fans of opposing teams - not be overly excited by the ability, ages and potential of Mainoo, Bellingham and Foden... Absolutely world class!

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

    England 1-2 Belgium

Belgium go in at the break with the lead thanks to two goals from Youri Tielemans, either side of Ivan Toney's penalty for his first England goal.

A couple of defensive errors have proved costly for the Three Lions to ruin what had generally been a very good first-half performance.

Is there no place in the modern game for the defensive hoof into the stands?

    England 1-2 Belgium

Jude Bellingham, despite having three players around him, still has the skill to spin and get a shot away, but Matz Sels dives down to his right and holds on to the ball.

Shortly afterwards, Sels is back in the game, this time denying Jarrod Bowen. England good going forwards, looking vulnerable in defence though.

You can't even blame Southgate for this. We're playing well, the strategy is clearly working. England have no defensive depth.

Declan Rice swings in a free-kick from the right with England's big lads up for it, but Matz Sels sprints off his line and shows some good handling to gather under pressure for Belgium.

  10. Euro 2024 play-off latestpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

We've had a goal in one of our final two play-off games... and it's gone to Iceland.

Albert Gudmundsson, who scored a hat-trick in last week's preliminary play-off against Israel, has put Iceland 1-0 up against Ukraine.

You will remember Iceland reached the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 and that is their one and only appearance so far in the final tournament.

Meanwhile, it is still goalless between Wales and Poland.

Did Southgate not watch the two Brighton - Roma games where Lukaku had Dunk on toast? Can't quite understand why he's in this squad.

Lewis Dunk will be disappointed he didn't deal with that ball over the top better but the ball from Lukaku to Tielemans is excellent.

GOAL - England 1-2 Belgiumpublished at 36 mins

    Youri Tielemans (Belgium)

Just when England were playing well, they concede again and once more it's from a mistake.

A ball forwards from Belgium should be mopped up by Lewis Dunk but he is unable to deal with it and Romelu Lukaku takes advantage.

The ex-Chelsea and Manchester United man produces a brilliant cross with the outside of the boot across the face of goal and Youri Tielemans is there to convert with a diving header for his second of the night.

As much as I want England to win this match, which I do. I want Rice to make it through without injury for Arsenal. Hopefully Henderson or Gallagher come on for him at half time.

This has been an excellent response from England since falling behind and they've clearly been the better side since. Phil Foden leads the charge and slides it wide right to Jarrod Bowen, who cuts inside and shoots over.

Belgium then nearly play themselves into a world of trouble as goalkeeper Matz Sels plays it to Amadou Onana and he loses it on the edge of the penalty area. England can't take advantage though with Jude Bellingham shooting over with only Sels to beat.

Why does everyone talk about it being a choice between taking Watkins and Toney to the Euros? Surely we can take both. Southgate needs to pick three strikers. What about if Kane gets injured early in the tournament?

Jarrod Bowen was indeed offside from Declan Rice's header into his path and Bowen, who thought he had got his first international goal, is denied and it's back to 1-1 we go.
