The ball is in the net, but is it offside?

Jarrod Bowen finishes after a corner was headed back into his path. But the West Ham man faces an anxious wait to see if he was onside.

Impressive first half so far for Mainoo and Bowen. These two have to start for England if they keep playing like this.

    England 1-1 Belgium

In the build-up to the England penalty, it was a great bit of skill from 18-year-old debutant Kobbie Mainoo, a drop of the shoulder and burst of pace to get away from his marker and then find Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham in turn released Ivan Toney, with the Brentford man brought down for the spot-kick, which he then converted.

Mainoo 18 and Bellingham 20. The midfield future looks very bright for the Three Lions.

Jordan Pickford will be looking to make up for his earlier error that led to Belgium's first goal and he does well to get down quickly to his right to parry away an effort from Manchester City's Jeremy Doku.

Wales have become known for making flying starts in recent matches, including in Thursday's 4-1 win over Finland.

So far, they've not managed an early breakthrough against Poland.

Still goalless in a raucous Cardiff City Stadium. Follow every kick here.

No goals either yet between Ukraine and Iceland in the final Euro 2024 play-off tie.

Does that send Toney second on the goals per minutes of England players... behind Lord David Nugent?

Toney has won it and he's scored it. That is exactly what Ivan Toney gives you. He used his pace and won the penalty.

That was a huge moment for Toney. His first England goal and also a penalty. One of the things that may help him separate himself from Watkins in the fight for a place in the squad is his set piece taking. It was vital he scored that.

    Ivan Toney (England, penalty)

That's a first England goal for Ivan Toney in his first start for the Three Lions. The penalty is so cool as well. He's constantly staring at goalkeeper Matz Sels and sends the keeper the wrong way to roll it into the bottom corner.

Playing Stones in back to back pointless friendlies, utterly stupid.

This has been a very uncomfortable start for England and Belgium are ahead already.

Just a note on manager Gareth Southgate's England team selection.

It is a bit surprising that Lewis Dunk gets the nod ahead of Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite in England manager Gareth Southgate's starting line up here tonight.

Surely this would have been an ideal opportunity to see what the powerful young defender is made of?

As for Dunk, he will want a good performance after a shake outing as a substitute against Brazil, where he was involved in their winning goal.

And he already has a new defensive partner in Liverpool's Joe Gomez after John Stones' injury and England need to come from behind.

Youri Tielemans scored at Wembley in an FA Cup final for Leicester against Chelsea and the midfielder gets the first goal of the game here.

England keeper Jordan Pickford tries to play a cross-field pass, but it falls straight to Amadou Onana and he quickly releases Tielemans.

The Villa man hits it first time from 25 yards and with Pickford out of position finds the bottom corner.

    Georgia have done it!

Willy Sagnol's side have created history by reaching a first major tournament for their nation with a penalty shootout win over Greece in their Euro 2024 play-off.

Home substitute Nika Kvekveskiri scored the winning penalty, squeezing his effort past the outstretched arm of Greece keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos.

The 4-2 shootout success, which came after a goalles draw, sparked joyous scenes in Tbilisi.

Worryingly for England and Manchester City, John Stones may well have to go off injured already. City face Arsenal in a huge, huge Premier League match at the Etihad on Sunday.
