Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
That's not a bad attempt!
More space for Bayern and Harry Kane has a pop which comes off the backside of Declan Rice and spins away for a corner.

Phil Foden (66 mins)
What a strike!
Well Manchester City have looked bright in this second half but have had to be patient in the final third. But when it falls to Phil Foden in space he lets fly with his left foot and it's straight into the top left corner.
Pick that out!

City are doing the right thing. They just need to be persistent. All things being fair, City should break Real Madrid down eventually. But they also need their defence to be watertight
Christian
They just can't get the ball the Haaland, City need to rethink their strategy in this second half, very little penetration!
Alan
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Manchester City win a corner and Jack Grealish plays it short, it comes out to Phil Foden but there are so many white shirts in the way that they manage to nick possession away from the City man.
The visitors win it back, though, thanks to a very determined Erling Haaland.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Leroy Sane has been terrific for Bayern but his night is over. Kingsley Coman is coming on.
And now Arsenal are making changes. Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard with the fresh legs for Gabriel Martinelli and Jorginho.

When Real Madrid go forward they do so with a purpose, with pace and drive.
With Man City at the moment they are keeping the ball well but they do not look like they are going to score.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Kingsley Coman is preparing to come on. He scored the winner in the 2020 Champions League final.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Bukayo Saka is hobbling around after he is challenged while attempting a cross. Arsenal need Saka to stay on the pitch.

City are being very calm and composed in possession, nice to watch on the eye, but there is no one that when they receive it you think something is going to happen.
No one is willing to take a risk and make something happen.
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Bernardo Silva has been a busy bee in this second half, he's finding himself with time on the ball in some decent spaces. He picks up the ball around 25-yards out, turns and shoots but Andriy Lunin palms it away.

I wouldn't say the Arsenal performance is that unlike them. For all their good form recently, the only slightly challenging game they've faced was against City and they didn't even try to win that one.

Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Bayern continue to find pockets of space in dangerous areas.
The next goal is going to be huge.
Now an attempt from distance by Konrad Laimer which clears the bar.
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Oh my, big chance for Real Madrid.
They break at pace and it comes out to Rodrygo on the left, he controls it well and finds Vinicius Junior but the Brazilian's shot misjudged and fires over the bar. You would expect him to get those efforts at least on target.

Kane clenches his fist in that elbow, he's definitely done that deliberately. How has that not been reviewed?
Dom, Hampshire
Harry Kane is lucky to still be on the pitch. Looks over his shoulder and then throw an elbow into the opponent's throat/chin. Clear case of violent conduct.
Nick
Andrew: Harry Kane up to his old tricks again when backing into defenders after having a quick glance over his shoulder.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Now Arsenal have a free-kick in a dangerous area.
Konrad Laimer sends Bukayo Saka down and Bayern have a three-man wall as Martin Odegaard stands over the ball.
It's a poor set-piece in the end.
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Decent opportunity for the holders. Rodri gets up higher than Toni Kroos to meet Jack Grealish's free-kick but he can't get his header down on target.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich look dangerous on the counter.
Another chance for the Germans as Leon Goretzka, who already has an assist, goes for glory but drags it wide from the edge of the box.
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Oops. Phil Foden looks for Rodri but the pass is all wrong and it bounces off the midfielder straight to the feet of Jude Bellingham.
He turns and shifts away from a couple of Manchester City defenders but drags his shot just wide.
Arsenal 1-2 Bayern Munich
One of the biggest roars of the night. Harry Kane is booked for backing into Gabriel who is down hurt. Kane raised his elbow which connected with the Arsenal player's chin.
Real Madrid 2-1 Man City
Antonio Rudiger has kept Erling Haaland quiet so far. Manchester City are struggling to find him.
