Arsenal have been uncharacteristially tentative and have faded after that perfect start. The Gunners need to remember what has worked so well for them and got them so far this season. Emirates Stadium is subdued at half-time.

Can't speak for Arsenal, but I'm not sure City are 'melting.' yes they're behind, but by two deflected goals. They're still in this.

  9. 'City too easy to play against at the moment'published at 20:44 British Summer Time 9 April

The only players I can think of who can change things for City are Jeremy Doku or Oscar Bobb.

They need something different, someone to run beyond and take a player on. Nice football but when they lose it it's too easy for Madrid to counter.

Good run from Vinicius Junior, once again Manchester City being carved open. The Brazilian cuts inside and goes for a low driven shot but it's straight into the arms of Stefan Ortega.

Rodrygo went down holding his face after a bit of a tussle with Manuel Akanji, he stayed down and needed a bit of treatment but he seems fine to continue.

Bayern have obviously seen something they are trying to target in Arsenal's defence. Several times Eric Dier has attempted long passes to get the ball forward quickly in the wide areas. And even if they have gone out, Thomas Tuchel has clapped and encouraged him to keep trying it.

Such a shame to see Bellingham pretending to be hurt with every challenge. We call out diving/play acting all the time and Jude should get the same treatment. Really embarrassing

    Josh, London

Honestly, some of the play-acting and diving from the Real Madrid players is truly pathetic. Akanji barely touched that Real player and he goes down as if he's been shot. I say this even as a Liverpool fan.

Phil Foden was looking for Erling Haaland in the area but it ended up looking more like a shot. Not his finest ball.

Harry Kane continues to get booed each time he touches the ball.

It's now 39 goals for the season for the former Tottenham forward.

He's also just scored for the sixth time at the Emirates.

In modern day football Jude Bellingham was lucky to not get a yellow card there.

    He has to watch himself.

Manuel Akanji is straight into the referee's book for a challenge on Vinicius Junior.

Moments after Jude Bellingham flings an elbow out on Ruben Dias. It's been feisty.

Arsenal have forgotten how to defend!

Leroy Sane is on the charge with only the keeper to beat but Ben White, somehow, gets back to make a goal-saving challenge.

    Terrific defending by White.
