Abdulhilam: It looks like Arsenal are playing same style game as they did against Porto, they need to pick themselves up and be more efficient in front of the goal.

Aaargh! Grealish. Such a frustrating player to watch as someone said earlier, his natural position isn't on the wing.

The ball drops to Phil Foden on the corner of the box but his weak is shot and bounces into the gloves of Andriy Lunin. You expect better from the in-form City man.

  11. 'Brilliant defending from Nacho'published at 21:12 British Summer Time 17 April

Man City 0-1 Real Madrid (agg: 3-4)

    Shay Given
Former Man City goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brilliant defending from Nacho - composed defending.

He tracked Erling Haaland's run and got himself between Haaland - scooping it off the goal line.

  12. Anxious Ancelottipublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 17 April

Man City 0-1 Real Madrid (Agg: 3-4)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Etihad Stadium

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is normally the most impassive man around, the product of years of experience and countless successes.

Ancelotti. however, was fuming when Real Madrdid conceded cheap possession to allow Manchester City to apply pressure. The great man was stalking around his technical area throwing his hands in the air in exasperation.

  13. City can get at Realpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 17 April

Man City 0-1 Real Madrid (Agg: 3-4)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

Real Madrid's passing inside their own half has not exactly been watertight, which means Manchester City should get enough possession to cause the visitors problems.

They seem to be targetting goalkeeper Andriy Lunin with high balls dropped virtually onto his goal-line.

However, I will repeat what I said midway through the first half, City must not concede again. They cannot afford to lose concentration at the back in the search for an equaliser.

Brilliant goalline clearance from Nacho... to stop himself scoring an own goal.

The Real defender, under pressure from Erling Haaland, knocks the ball past his own keeper before hooking it away at the last second.

Takehiro Tomiyasu has his eyesight back and his feet are definitely working as he cuts inside off the left, dancing past a few challenges before finding Gabriel Martinelli. He can't get a shot off in the end.

Man City 0-1 Real Madrid (agg: 3-4)

Rodrygo has scored more goals against Manchester City than against any other team in any competition in his Real Madrid career - four.

He goes for number five but shoots well over from long range.

Liverpool are probably hoping that both City & Arsenal win today. That guarantees both clubs a minimum of two extra matches in the run in to the Premier League season.

Solid save from Andriy Lunin to deny Jack Grealish's volley from the edge of the box. Then a cross sails over everyone's heads. Real have their work cut out for them to keep City out.
