I think Man City have to dominate possession and create the same amount of chances.
They have not played badly, but they need to go to the next level.
Man City 0-1 Real Madrid (agg: 3-4)
Good header by Nacho to stop Erling Haaland getting onto Jack Grealish's cross.
City have a corner though. It's 10-0 on corners.
Bayern 0-0 Arsenal (agg: 2-2)
What a start from Bayern!
Leon Goretzka's header bounces off the woodwork and Raphaël Guerreiro's rebound effort is scrambled away by David Raya, via the post, for a corner.

Manchester City have 45 minutes to keep the double Treble dream alive.
Getting back under way again in both games.

City are wearing Real Madrid down. But it is uncertain whether it is enough to score 2 or 3 goals if necessary. City may need to accelerate things a bit. Carlo Ancelotti with Modric can be formidable!

Leroy Sane has come back out at half time and is staying warm.
Thomas Tuchel said that he is carrying a bit of a knock before this match.
Something to watch to see if it affects him in the second half.

Arsenal are a well-oiled machine, but they have no big game players. Bayern are in an awful position at the moment and are there for the taking but look very comfortable. Saka needs to show up in the second half.

The biggest talking point is Phil Foden. He is not being allowed to have a good game because of his position.

What does Grealish offer this Man City team? Slows down promising attacks time after time by inching the ball towards the box at two metres per hour then laying it back to midfield to start from scratch.

The biggest worry is how quick Madrid are on the break.
At one time Pep was on his knees, if they go two goals down I cannot see a way back.
It's a fantastic second half set up.
Wes Hoolahan was exactly who we were thinking of too!

There's so much to like about Musiala's game tonight. His body feints, low centre of gravity and his control is incredible. Similar to Wes Hoolahan in his prime.

Twice in a couple of minutes Jack Grealish has teased the Real Madrid defenders just inside the visitors' penalty area, with the ball at his feet.
The tactic is two-fold. Firstly, he is goading Real's defenders to make a tackle and potentially give a penalty away.
Secondly, Real's players are getting sucked into watching the England man to see what he does.
That allows City's players to get into space for a shot.
It has not paid off yet. But it seems a good avenue to exploit.

Man City have spotted a weakness from Lunin because Kevin de Bruyne is swinging it in towards the back post - he made a mess of that backpedalling.

Largely uneventful. Still all square in Germany.

Two minutes added on. Phil Foden shoots over from 25 yards. Not his best effort.
