It would now take an unlikely sequence of results to prevent Germany getting that second spot behind Italy.
Needless to say, Manchester City winning this game in extra-time would give them some hope, particularly as they would play Bayern next.

Does anyone think City could benefit from having Cole Palmer in their squad? Seems to be in a richer vein of form than Haaland at the moment.

The thing for me is what Carlo Ancelotti is going to do and how they are going to improve.
Yes Man City only got one goal, but possession wise you can see they are incredibly dominant.
