    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

Blackburn finally get a little bit of possession in the Leeds half.

They win a couple of throw ins high up the pitch but can't fashion a shot at goal.

Leeds have conceded three goals across 10 home games in the league this calendar year.

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

    Leeds win another corner.

This one causes some real problems and the away side smuggle it out for another set piece.

The second one is a routine catch for Rovers keeper Aynsley Pears.

  3. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier has his first touch of the day as he makes a couple of passes.

As Kevin Gallacher has just said, Blackburn are getting through a huge amount of work defensively so far.

Blackburn have settled in because they are doing the ugly side of the game - they are just defending. They're keeping Leeds at bay but they aren't really creating anything in the final third.

You have to be clever; Tyrhys Dolan has to be clever. The percentage chance of winning a 3v3 is very difficult but I fancy Sam Gallagher and Dolan in a 1v1 for pace.

Leeds are moving the ball with real intent in these early minutes.

They only had one shot on target in Tuesday's drab stalemate with Sunderland.

They've already beaten that tally today.

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

I don't want to cast any aspersions here but Blackburn keeper Aysnley Pears has just tried to eat up a load of time over a goalkick.

    At 0-0 after 10 minutes.

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

Leeds win a free-kick in a decent area as Crysencio Summerville is bundled over.

The Dutchman whips it towards goal and Aynsley Pears does well to keep the initial effort out before denying Willy Gnonto's firmly struck effort on the rebound from 20 yards.

  8. 'Blackburn hoping for an off-day from Leeds'published at 12:41 British Summer Time 13 April

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

    Leigh Bromby
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio Leeds

Excellent start from Leeds. We've seen this a lot where teams drop off and Leeds have always found a way to score.

Blackburn will be hoping that Leeds have an off-day in front of goal. Every Blackburn player isn't just in their half, they're in their half of their half.

Anon: Leeds never make it easy but today it all comes good. A 3-0 win and Boro getting result at Ipswich.

    Leeds 0-0 Blackburn

    Enterprising start from both sides.

Leeds unsurprisingly doing the majority of the early running but Blackburn did look to get men forward when they broke up a home attack a few moments ago.

At this moment in time, Blackburn have to look at the table. Looking at Plymouth last night - it'll be part of their team talk. If Leicester can drop points to Plymouth, Blackburn can do something here.

Leeds are looking to go back up to the top of the table today with victory over Blackburn.

With four games of the season to go do you think the Whites can get their promotion push over the line and finish first or second to secure an immediate return to the Premier League?

Hit the thumbs up if you're backing Daniel Farke's men to get the job done and down if you think they're going to have to settle for a place in the play-offs.

The EFL weekend got under way last night with leaders Leicester visiting struggling Plymouth.

The Pilgrims hadn't recorded a win in front of the Home Park faithful since 20 January and started the night just two points above the bottom three.

However, Mustapha Bundu's first-half strike was enough, external to give them all three points and consign the Foxes to a second successive defeat and spark scenes of jubilation down in Devon.

Enzo Maresca's men have now lost three of their past five and could slip to third by the end of today.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke has not been one for changing things up this season but one point from the past two games has forced his hand. Three changes for the Whites today as Connor Roberts, Willy Gnonto and Joel Piroe all come back into the XI. Glen Kamara, Dan James and Patrick Bamford drop to the bench.

Leeds subs: Darlow, Byram, Cooper, Kamara, Anthony, James, Gelhardt, Bamford, Joseph.

Despite the tight turnaround and the fact they just lost 5-0 John Eustace has made just one change to the Blackburn team that started the humbling at Bristol City. Hayden Carter is in for the injured Andrew Moran.

Leeds are one of just three teams (alongside Liverpool and Manchester City) in the 92 Premier League and EFL teams not to have lost at home this season.

The third-placed Whites come into today's game off the back of a flat display in Tuesday's 0-0 draw with out-of-sorts Sunderland but probably couldn't ask for a more charitable opponent than today's visitors.

Blackburn have had 24 hours less to prepare for this game and will likely still be smarting from the 5-0 battering they took down at Bristol City.

John Eustace's strugglers have won two league games this calendar year.

However, as mentioned earlier, strange things are happening to the teams at the top of the table at the moment, could Rovers spring a surprise of their own?

It wasn't so long ago that the top three in the Championship looked like they might win every single game until the end of the season.

Well, about eight days ago in fact.

What a difference a week makes.

Since this time last Saturday the cumulative record of the top three in second tier reads played seven, won one, drawn two and lost four.

Leeds have the chance to get back on the horse, and back to the top of the table, when they host lowly Blackburn in today's first game.

Just 15 minutes until kick off so let's get started.
