    Laura Kenyon
BBC Final Score at Ashton Gate

Huddersfield need points and fast. I was here at Ashton Gate on Wednesday when Blackburn completely collapsed, losing 5-0, despite having the majority of possession.

At the very least Huddersfield need to avoid another complete capitulation. Goal difference could be crucial at the business end of the season so the suggestion centre-half Tom Lees could be back from injury will be a welcome boost.

Safe to say a trip down memory lane will not be appreciated though… almost 25 years to the day when Bristol City secured a record 6-1 win over Huddersfield; their biggest victory over the Terriers.

    Ozan Tufan (8 min)

Hull give their play-off chances a big boost early on with a sumptuous finish from Ozan Tufan.

It's good build-up play from the Tigers and Tufan bends the ball past Asmir Begovic and off the underside of the bar in the Hoops goal to give his side the lead.

Listen to the atmosphere inside St Andrew's. There's hope, there's tempo, there's purpose for Birmingham. There's an intensity to this game that we haven't seen this season.

It's a really open game in the opening stages.

Set-pieces are going to be massive for Sheffield Wednesday - anyone watching Stoke on Wednesday can tell you that.

These are the games you want to be playing. You don't want to be playing in front of four or five thousand people which might happen for both of these teams next year. They need to relish it.

Portsmouth could win the League One title in a huge game at the top of the table today.

They travel to Bolton, who are locked in an enthralling battle with Derby for that second automatic promotion spot, knowing victory would secure automatic promotion to the second tier.

Derby could stake a big claim to join them by defeating Leyton Orient at Pride Park.

And it's a big day in League Two as Stockport County look to secure promotion against Morecambe, while MK Dons could leapfrog Mansfield into the automatic promotion places in a crunch clash at the top of the table.

    Naz Premji
    Final Score at Hillsborough

The fight for survival is really hotting up in the Championship and Sheffield Wednesday under Danny Rohl have given themselves a real chance of staying up.

His side were 12 points off safety when he arrived and now they are only in the drop zone on goal difference.

Stoke are sliding and are looking over their shoulders and a Wednesday win could move them level on points with the Potters, that's how tight it is and this is a massive game.

  19. Swans seek two home wins in four dayspublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 13 April

    Swansea v Rotherham (15:00 BST)

Swansea football manager Luke WilliamsImage source, Getty Images

There aren't many teams with precious little left to play for in the Championship, but Swansea and Rotherham fit that description - and Swans manager Luke Williams' main concern is that his players remain at "full tilt" against opponents destined to finish bottom by a chasm.

A 3-0 home win over Stoke on Wednesday ended a run of two defeats for Williams' side, who are 15th and surely looking towards next season under their new boss.

Officially relegated by their 1-0 defeat at home to Plymouth eight days ago, Rotherham lost 2-0 at West Brom on Wednesday to extend their stretch without a goal to more than three hours.

Perhaps one of the Millers' remaining ambitions this season will be to win on the road for the first time since November 2022. The form book looks even worse for Leam Richardson's side for this one: Rotherham last won in Wales in the league against Wrexham in September 2007, losing five of their nine trips across the border since then.

They've won one of their last 18 away league games in this fixture, losing nine times. Richardson himself might remember his only previous visit to Swansea's current home: his Wigan team went 2-0 ahead after 16 minutes in November 2022, only to draw 2-2.

BBC Final Score at the MKM Stadium

Sign at Hull City's MKM StadiumImage source, Ben Croucher - BBC Sport

Don’t be fooled by the slogan emblazoned on the stadium.

It’s been less ‘mauled by the Tigers’ and more ‘kittens having their belly tickled’ at home for Hull City of late. Zero wins from their last six at the MKM.

Fans I spoke to bemoaned their lack of ruthless edge in front of goal and weren’t exactly raving about their play-off prospects.

"Stay with us" is the cry from boss Liam Rosenior in the programme notes - I suspect a message to the fans, rather than an invitation for the Championship’s away specialists QPR to go toe-to-toe with them.

Razorlight's 'Before I Fall to Pieces' has blared out on the pre-match playlist. I feel there's a joke to be made there somewhere...
