Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat and Willy Kambwala have all been ruled out of today's game due to injury.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag's options off the bench are not extensive, although he does have three outfield internationals so it's probably wise not to be too sympathetic.

It would be one of the best cup finals that I recall.

I go back to the early seventies that I remember, but that was right up there. Walking into the stadium today it is all sky blue.

Coventry have had their recent Wembley experiences, but this is different.

Casemiro and Maguire will drop deep. You'd hope Coventry are smart enough to take advantage of it.

In terms of the bigger picture and titles Manchester United are way off it. But they are playing a Championship team. Man Utd aren't consistent, they've lost 12 league games. But Coventry have lost 13 games, they're not consistent either.

You'd think Man Utd's attacking players will have better attacking moments than Coventry's and that should win the game.

Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho has apologised to Erik ten Hag for liking social media posts critical of his substitution against Bournemouth.

The winger, 19, was removed at half-time during the 2-2 draw on 13 April.

One post he liked said "taking him off at half-time and holding him up as the problem is a joke". He has since unliked the posts.

"Alejandro is a young player, he has to learn a lot," said Ten Hag. "He apologised for it and after that we move on."

Crowds of 2,000 were normal when Coventry played 'home' games at Northampton 10 years ago due to a ground dispute.

Today, 36,000 Sky Blues fans are at Wembley.

"There's a new energy, a real excitement around the club now," Moz Baker, who has watched Coventry for 49 years, tells me.

"Each home game before kick-off they play the song 'We'll Live and Die in These Towns' by Coventry band The Enemy.

"Coventry fans sing it loud and proud. It's like a new anthem the club has adopted and it leaves the hairs on the back of your neck standing up."

This is Coventry City's sixth trip to Wembley, but four of them have come in the past seven seasons.

They beat Oxford in the 2017 EFL Trophy final, saw off Exeter in the 2018 League Two play-off final but lost to Luton on penalties in last season's Championship play-off final.

Mark Robins was in charge for all of those games.

The other two were in 1987, the FA Cup final win over Tottenham and Charity Shield loss to Everton.

Former Coventry City goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic believes they have "a real chance" to secure an upset.

"They have particularly taken to the FA Cup this season," Ogrizovic, who played 601 games for the club, told the BBC.

"Bearing in mind the problems Manchester United have had this season, Coventry have a real chance.

"Confidence should be high this season apart from Saturday's game [3-0 loss at Birmingham]. You feel their thoughts must have been on Wembley.

"This is a one-off. How many opportunities do you get to play in a semi-final?"

There is a chance Manchester United might have to win the FA Cup to qualify for European competition next season.

They are currently seventh in the Premier League, with West Ham and Chelsea both within three points of them.

Were Coventry to win the FA Cup, then only the top six in the Premier League would qualify for Europe.

Coventry v Man Utd (15:30 BST)

    BrownImage source, .

If Manchester United lose against Coventry on Sunday in the FA Cup semi-final then that is it - that is the ultimate low. I know it is only one game, but if the manager does not win that match then his position is untenable.

It has been said by some this week that Erik ten Hag is already "done" at the club, and I can understand why they say that. But I would hope from a Manchester United point of view that he goes away with another trophy. That is what success is and he will be hoping that is the case.

It is not just Ten Hag at United though, it is the recruitment that is all changing. At the top with the new ownership, everything about the club needs to get better and we are going to see big changes happening over the summer.

If they do not get European football this year then it is a blow, but I do not see with where United are at that it is the be-all and end-all for them to get some kind of European competition. That is not going to change the outcome.

It is going to be about how they build, who they sign, who is the manager and how they get into a position to finish in the Champions League spots next season. That is the most important. If they win a trophy this season then it is just a plus point.

Do I see Ten Hag still being there next season? No. Too many things have gone on and I do not think there is anything he can do now to save himself.

They need fresh players, a fresh start and it will be a new Manchester United with a new ownership.

It is not just Ten Hag's fault what has happened, but I feel a whole new bill of health will be good for the club.

Coventry City boss Mark Robins tells Mark Clemmit how it was "written in the stars" for the Sky Blues to face his former club Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

"To play them at Wembley is going to be special. It is going to be an experience of a lifetime for the players," the 54-year-old told Football Focus.

"Playing in the national stadium against Manchester United, it doesn't get much bigger than that really. It's not a normal occasion for us. For Manchester United, it's a normal occasion.

"They play at Wembley a lot, they have England international players, and it's an expectation for them and their supporters."

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has been the subject of huge recent criticism, particularly for his lack of running.

It is possible a central defensive spot will suit him better, although playing alongside Harry Maguire, it does mean Manchester United will need to drop deep as they cannot risk a relative lack of pace being exposed.

That negates one of Andre Onana's main strengths, his ability with the ball at his feet.

This feels like a huge moment for Coventry. While Manchester United fans are used to seeing their team at Wembley, this is Coventry's first game in the FA Cup at the national stadium since they won it in 1987.

Thousands of Sky Blues fans have been pouring into the area since early morning - including Steve and Vicky who are decked out in club colours for the occasion.

Look closely and Steve is holding a knitted blue elephant - the animal which features on Coventry's club badge - which was made by his daughter Emily.

Steve and Vicky have called it Keith after Keith Houchen, who scored against Tottenham in the 1987 final.

"Hopefully Keith will bring us luck," said Steve, who was at Wembley, aged 18, when Coventry won the cup 37 years ago.

Man Utd XI: Onana, Dalot, Maguire, Casemiro, Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund.

Coventry City make two changes from the side who were hammered 3-0 at Birmingham City last weekend.

Callum O'Hare and Josh Eccles replace Victor Torp and Kasey Palmer.

Coventry XI: Collins, Latibeaudiere, Thomas, Kitching, Bidwell, Eccles, Sheaf, O'Hare, Van Ewijk, Simms, Wright.
