Everton are surely safe. Two out of Forest, Burnley and Luton won't do enough to overhaul their points tally, especially with the three games they have after today.

Not looking forward to tonight. It's Everton's cup final and Klopp struggles to beat teams who make no attempt whatsoever to play football.

When I have seen him play for Sheffield United he has been outstanding and he looks at home in the Premier League.

I do like him and I think he is a special talent, some [Premier League] teams might look at him in the summer and try to buy him.

We've just seen some clips of Alexander Isak going through a shooting drill at Selhurst Park.

He looks in fine form at the moment.

The Newcastle forward has scored 17 goals in 24 Premier League appearances this season, equalling his best league goals return in a single campaign: 17 goals in 34 La Liga games for Real Sociedad in 2020-21.

Isak has also equalled the most Premier League goals by a Swedish player in a single campaign: also 17 by Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Manchester United in 2016-17.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson left there is the expectation that Manchester United are going to be a title challenging team.

But, in the current climate of the Premier League and what is happening down the road at Man City there has been a shift with the Manchester clubs.

There is also shift with the teams who are dominating the Premier League.

Realistically where Man Utd are right now do they really need the Champions League?

Would Erik ten Hag benefit from not competing in a European competition? Would ten hag benefit from a solid season not answering to critics every single game?

We need to be realistic of where Man Utd are at and where they want to go.

Liverpool are absolutely in the title race. Just look at the table – and especially with the three contenders all having really tough games. They still have a great chance because I believe there will be other twists. Manchester City are favourites because it is in their hands but Liverpool are still right in contention.

Sheffield United have conceded 88 Premier League goals this campaign. That's 13 more than the next worst in the league this term - Luton on 75.

Only three teams have conceded as many Premier League goals in an entire season: Swindon Town (100 in 1993-94), Ipswich Town (93 in 1994-95) and Derby County (89 in 2007-08).

The Swindon and Ipswich campaigns were 42-game seasons.

Manchester United won't want history to repeat itself.

They're hosting Sheffield United in a competitive match for the first time since a 2-1 defeat in the Premier League in January, 2021.

Oliver Burke scored the winning goal that day during Chris Wilder's first spell in charge of the Blades.

United, who were then managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, would have gone top of the Premier League if they'd have won.

  14. I've been successful for 10 years - Ten Hagpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 24 April

Man Utd v Sheff Utd (20:00 BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

Erik ten Hag came out swinging at his press conference yesterday, telling journalists their negative coverage of Manchester United's FA Cup semi-final victory against Coventry was 'embarrassing' and a 'disgrace'.

In addition to this, he spoke about his record as a manager, which, he said, amounted to 10 years of success. (It is 10 years since he won the regional league in Bavaria with Bayern Munich's second team).

“I would say it’s over, over-performing with all the problems we have had," Ten Hag said, when asked what winning the FA Cup this season would mean.

"Getting into the final is already a big achievement, but we are here for trophies.

"We are not satisfied by being in the final, we want to win it and that is what we will go for and it’s our mentality. That is why we are successful.

"That’s why I am successful over 10 years as a manager, I always bring out the maximum of each squad."

  15. 'Draw written all over it'published at 19:23 British Summer Time 24 April

    Wolves v Bournemouth (19:45 BST)

Chris Sutton BBC graphicImage source, BBC Sport

This is a big game for Wolves manager Gary O'Neil, who again will be desperate to beat the side who sacked him in the summer.

Wolves won when they met on the south coast in October but back then Bournemouth had not got going under new boss Andoni Iraola, and were still waiting for their first league win.

This time it is Wolves who are short of form, and they have not won any of their five league games since being knocked out of the FA Cup by Coventry.

The Cherries have not won in three games either but their performances have still been pretty solid and I can see them getting something here - this game has got a draw written all over it.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

When Bournemouth lost 2-1 at home to Wolves on 21 October, the Cherries were firmly entrenched in the relegation zone after failing to win any of their opening nine Premier League games under manager Andoni Iraola.

Five months and 24 games later, they are planning for another season in the Premier League after securing their top-flight future.

The Cherries start at Molineux 13th in the table and will leapfrog 11th-placed Wolves with a sixth away win.

Bournemouth require five points from the last five games to reach 47 points - a new club record for Premier League points.

  20. 'I fancy Palace to edge it'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 24 April

Crystal Palace v Newcastle (20:00 BST)

Crystal Palace will be buzzing off the back of their big win over West Ham on Sunday.

Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise sparkled again alongside Jean-Philippe Mateta up front and having those two back fit has been huge for new Eagles boss Oliver Glasner in terms of increasing his side's attacking threat.

Newcastle have found a bit of form recently too, but I fancy Palace to edge it. They look completely safe from relegation now so they can play with a bit of freedom, but Eze and Olise will make the difference.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1
