Ian Murray has made three changes at the break with Zak Rudden, Callum Smith and Kyle Turner all coming on.

Jack Hamilton, Ross Matthews and Shaun Byrne are the players being replaced.

This is a big 45 minutes in the title race, no doubt.

You can almost see the colour draining out of Morton goalkeeper Ryan Mullen's face as the ball crosses the line.

Ian Murray must be absolutely sick of the sight of his former club.

On track for four defeats in five games against Airdrie.

His former trusted lieutenant Rhys McCabe seems to have his number.

Two headed goals of real quality by Kirk Broadfoot and Anton Dowds as this physical encounter reaches the halfway mark.

I’d be surprised if we get to the full-time whistle with 22 players on the pitch because there’s been plenty of aggro.

Two goals in the space of four minutes give Airdrie the advantage at Stark's Park.

Both goals from captain Adam Frizzell and stunning strikes but from a Raith point of view the defending wears terrible in both cases.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the home dressing room to hear manager Ian Murray's thoughts.

For Airdrie this is all about game management now. A third goal would certainly wrap up all three points.

A cup of tea and a pie for me now!

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 9 April

The whistles peep in Ayrshire and Fife.

Raith's title charge is in serious trouble as they once again fall behind to an impressive Airdrie.

Meanwhile, Anton Dowds' equaliser at the end of the half has Ayr and Morton on level terms.

You'd be brave to bet on the night's drama being over just yet.

I’m telling you, that head of Anton Dowds can do some damage.

Wonderful cross by Francis Amartey from the left and Dowds makes it 11 for the season as his header hits the underside of the crossbar and lands the right side of the goal-line as far as Ayr United are concerned.

  11. Will Murray look to bench?published at 20:29 British Summer Time 9 April

    Raith Rovers 0-2 Airdrieonians

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Stark's Park

The Airdrie midfield pairing of Charlie Telfer and Adam Frizzell are bossing this match.

Don’t be too surprised if Ian Murray looks to the bench for reinforcements at at break with the firepower of Lewis Vaughan, Callum Smith, Josh Mullin and Zak Rudden waiting in the wings.

Morton goalkeeper Ryan Mullen has to be on his toes twice in quick succession to deny Francis Amartey and Frankie Musonda, who both struck very decent shots.

Raith certainly not out of this.

Dylan Easton with a strike from 25 yards that had the Airdrie keeper at full stretch.

If Raith were to pull one back before the break that would ignite the home crowd, who all of a sudden have gone quiet.

  16. Garrity gleepublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 9 April

    Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at Somerset Park

Dougie Imrie made sure he offered a special bit of praise to Michael Garrity for his assist in making the Morton goal.

The Ton manager called the 21-year-old over to the touchline to give him a pat on the back for a wonderful delivery.

  17. Frizzell's fine finishespublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 9 April

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Stark's Park

Airdrie captain Adam Frizzell with a stunning strike from 20 yards for that first goal.

As the home defence inexplicably backed off Frizzell curled the ball with the outside of his left boot high into the top right hand corner of the goal. Stunning!

The second is almost a carbon copy. This time a low left foot shot which gave Dabrowski no chance.
