Almost an opportunity for Burnley but David Datro Fofana is just offside when the ball is played into his path in the box.

  4. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 27 April

    Newcastle 1-1 Sheff Utd

Just seen a replay of Newcastle's equaliser.

That assist by Jacob Murphy was simply DELICIOUS.

Hwang Hee-chan attempted just two passes in the first half... but scored the goal so I'm sure Wolves will be fine with his contribution.

    An interesting first half.

Everyone had chances, but none of them looked capable of finishing!

I am a Villa fan but I have always had a lot of respect for Newcastle as a club and their fair and knowledgeable supporters. It is good to see the majority recognise the great job that Eddie how has done. Let’s not forget they were amongst the favourites for relegation when he took over. They over achieved last year and this set unrealistic expectations amongst the minority of supporters but most recognise how well they have done especially given injuries.

  10. 'I am happy for the club if it happens.'published at 15:56 British Summer Time 27 April

    FT: West Ham 2-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool

More from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

On how he's brought kids into the team over the years: "I've got no clue what I will be proud of. In the moment I don't think about those kinds of things. I said weeks, months ago that I am really happy for the squad. It has lots of the future, everything you need. Obviously not bad to have a fresh voice as well to get the boys all running in the same direction.

"It is too early to speak of that now though, three games to come and if you ask me I would love to win them all. It is not a great day for LFC. We had chances , we were clearly unlucky but we ran out of luck here a couple of times. We know it is our fault we are not blaming anything else. Again let's recover and go again.

On Arne Slot being close to taking over at the club:"If I don't know a manager personally I can only touch the subject from watching their team and the way they play football. Feyenoord are a really, really good football team, and he is definitely a really good manager. I am happy for the club if it happens. I don't know it for sure. It is not too important if I am happy, other people make the decisions and they will do it right, so I am happy."

  11. 'The only winner of the game would have been us'published at 15:56 British Summer Time 27 April

    FT: West Ham 2-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "[One point not enough?] No of course not. The only winner today would have been us. We were in complete charge and control of that game. It was the fourth game in a ten day spell, it was tricky, we had to fight through it. You could see first half, good stuff but not the highest intensity, good control. Then you concede a goal out of the blue.

"Then we come out second half and are ready to turn it around, which I liked a lot. We scored an early one, a scrappy one I think and again in complete control, had chances around it and concede again.

"It is a bit the story of the last few weeks to be honest. Not always great, especially not at Everton, but other games really good and then we don't finish the situations off. In football things can look completely different. If you take the half chances from today then the game is already done. If you look at the situation, 75 points with still nine left to go for, we will try absolutely everything. We have tough opponents but we have a little longer to recover now, and we can do that and try again.

On more intensity in the second half: "It is quite common. It is difficult to get the legs running. The last games were super intense, we played Wednesday night - so you have to control games. For the intensity of the last three games the first half was really good and just the result was not right. Very often the case that the second half gets a bit easier."

  12. 'An incredible reaction'published at 15:54 British Summer Time 27 April

    FT: West Ham 2-2 Liverpool

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes talking to BBC Match of the Day: "It is an incredible reaction after the way we performed last week. The players have done a great job, tough, and sometimes you have to hang in in games and we did that and the couple of half-chances we got we took them.

"Most teams, if you look at the game against Everton in midweek it was very similar to today. They waited for their moment and goals from set pieces. I'm really pleased with what the players did, they did everything we asked of them. It was the character from last week and going 2-1 down and staying at it and not buckling."

On the own goal: "I've not seen it again but it was definitely a deflection and I'll need to see if we can deal with the first ball a bit better but it did feel a bit freakish. But, to be fair, Liverpool were on top at the time and we had to bury down the hatchets."

On Jarrod Bowen: "That is 20 in all competitions and 16 in the Premier League I believe. It is about pushing him in the Premier League. He's shown he can play wide and as a centre forward. He's doing a great job for us."

On Michail Antonio: "It was a great ball in from Jarrod and a terrific header. We see a lot of good things in modern football but a good header we can all like. He looks fitter, leaner since he came back. He's done a really good job in the last month or so."

On European chances: "Our points total is a good total for West Ham, if you look at our totals over all the Premier League years. We'll keep banging at the door. We finish with a really tough game at Manchester City so the next two games we'll look to get something. Today keeps us in the hunt."

On this contract situation: "I've always said we'll make a decision at the end of the season. I want things to be right on both sides and I'm quite cool about the whole thing at the moment. The team are showing up and doing the job."

Manchester United have Andre Onana to thank for the score remaining level.

His two saves from Lyle Foster have been priceless for the United side, who started well, then faded, not for the first time this season.

Vincent Kompany will be pleased with what he has seen so far. Burnley definitely have a chance to win this.

All credit to Burnley, you can sense the frustration in the crowd at Old Trafford.

They are playing their own way, looking to play the ball and attack and the chances are coming their way. Andre Onana has been magnificent for United today.
