People rave about De Zerbi but if Everton win today they'll have earned the same number of points (before the reduction) as Brighton despite all the craziness surrounding the club. Dyche deserves credit

Half-chance for Ivan Toney as he flicks a near-post shot towards goal from a corner. It seems to strike James Tarkowksi's hand on the way through to Jordan Pickford but nothing given.

It has been really impressive how Everton have gone about their business in recent weeks. To win four home games in a row just proves it, they haven't done that since 2018 or so.

Clean sheets, resilience, solid, organised, but that is what you expect from a Sean Dyche side. He has done it for years, knows how to grind out points and results at the end of the season.

The stadium finally comes alive in celebration!

Everton did so well to be patient and work the ball around, lots of little passages, waiting for the opportunity. They kept Brentford pinned right in.

Then the ball finally drops and you're wondering who it is going to fall to, Idrissa Gueye is there in the space, and he directs it right into the far corner. He can't miss from there, wonderful finish.
