We still haven't stopped LOLling at Lola BTW...
Proof that this year's McLaren can theoretically last a whole race.
Some driver news for the afternoon session.
Rio Haryanto was supposed to replace Pascal Wehrlein in the seat, but that plan has been scrapped.

“Haas driver Esteban Gutierrez held a news conference over the lunch break and he was effusive about his first experience of the new team’s car - and being back in F1.
"‘I have been waiting for this moment for quite a long time. Fantastic. Overall a very positive feeling.
"We have a lot of work ahead obviously but the baseline seems to be pretty fair. I feel great in the car and it is a really good start’.
"His start to the day was delayed by the team needing to finish off modifications following the front-wing failure suffered by team-mate Romain Grosjean on Monday. Gutierrez said: ‘It’s not ideal but it is something we could have expected to have - some issues’.
"Once out on the track, he said, ‘things went smoothly’, adding: ’At the moment we are focusing on doing kilometres - it is very important to get all the reliability issues out of the way'.”
What a remarkably fine choice in rolling 24-hour news service the chaps at Toro Rosso have...
You don't want to see me after two cups, Bryce.

So many of your favourite F1 car colour combos have come in. Which ones make you feel gooey inside?
Here are a few...
Like a proud parent, I obviously wouldn't be able to choose between those three.
But the Lotus is clearly the winner.
Right, I'm back, armed with baguette (ham and egg), fruit (mango), brownie (chocolate) and coffee (white, filter, one sugar).
Who's ready to look gratuitously at pictures of lovely F1 cars?
You've asked for a full list of times. You've got them.
I was going to type them all out, but then realised I could just steal, I mean borrow, this tweet from the guys over at F1,

But to keep you going until then, the mocking of the Mastercard Lola (which I by no means condone) continues with gusto.
I'm going to locate a sandwich, a cup of coffee (maybe two cups of coffee) and a restroom (maybe two restrooms).
I advise you do the same.
I'll be back in 10 minutes and we'll rattle off some of your best colour combos for teams down the years and take a closer look at the numbers from the first session.
It's lunchtime folks.
Here's the top three as it stands:
Vettel - 1:22.810 (46 laps)
Ricciardo - 1:23.525 (58)
Rosberg - 1:24,867 (81)

Dan Wilcox: Great to see @nico_rosberg, @danielricciardo and Vettel all fighting to go quickest three quick cars this year! Interesting
Jordan Knight: Are manor getting a new nose for Australia? Red Bull looking great....
Paul Eaton: I see @ManorRacing have gone faster by 6 seconds of their best time from the Spanish Grand Prix Weekend from last year. :)
Zack Attack: I wish @MercedesAMGF1 was out along with @redbullracing and @ScuderiaFerrari on the same tyres at the same time.
F1 journalist Dan Knutson in Barcelona: "Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel both did five lap runs on Pirelli’s new ultra soft tyres with the purple sidewalls. They became the first drivers to try out the tyres.
"Ricciardo’s sequence of laps times were: out lap; 1:23.525; 1:38.814; 1:24.220; in lap.
"Vettel’s sequence of laps times were: out lap; 1:22.810; 1:40.243; 1:23.799; in lap."
A question from Matt...
Not that I'm aware. But this could be the reason for the sudden drop in times...
Daniel Ricciardo has strapped on the purples as well.
Speaking of Vettel, he's making the most of the knowledge yesterday's extra day gave him.
He's dipped under 1 min 23 secs with a 1:22.810 - quickest of the week sofar.

Vettel recorded yesterday's fastest lap, and has been quickest so far today
“Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time of the first day of track action in 2016, but he is far too cautious and experienced to be carried away by that.
"‘It doesn't mean much,’ the four-time champion said yesterday, before heading back out on track today.
"The new Ferrari, he said, ‘is a step forward - the first impression is very positive.’ He was quite limited on laps compared to Mercedes but he was not too concerned.
"‘We did some laps,’ he said. ‘Ideally I would have liked to do some more, but naturally when everything is new and when you have... I wouldn't say “problems”, but some issues that you look into, then you take a bit more caution and you stop, you look and it takes time. Overall we have plenty of reasons to be happy. Equally we have plenty of things we need to improve. Time is limited. It's no secret that in four weeks we'll be in Australia, so we know we have a lot of work to do’.”
A couple of the boys are in a hurry to tuck into their (no doubt protein heavy, gluten free) lunches.
Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo have both broken the 1 min 24 secs barrier for the first time this week.
Ricciardo leads with a 1:23.525 and Vettel has a 1:23.658.
