Lap 8Felipe Massa pits from second and takes on mediums. That elevates Kimi Raikkonen to second. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton is on a charge. He picks off Romain Grosjean and then Valtteri Bottas to get into third.
Ah, a blow for McLaren! Jenson Button has stopped at Turn 10 and it looks like his race is over.

Lap 5Daniel Ricciardo also got caught up in that Bottas-Hamilton clash, suffering damage to his front wing.
Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, is ploughing on. He is fifth and there's a fair few sparks kicking up from under his Mercedes, looks like he damaged his floor in that earlier clash.
Nico Rosberg, meanwhile, is largely oblivious of that chaotic start. He is breezing along out in front and six seconds clear of Felipe Massa, who is second.

Lap 3Sergio Perez, who damaged his front wing after that clash with Carlos Sainz, pits. Sainz does likewise after suffering a puncture.
Meanwhile, replays show Lewis Hamilton got off poorly at the start - just as he did in Australia - before he was tagged by Valtteri Bottas going into the first corner.
What a chaotic start.

BBC Radio 5 live commentator"I think what Lewis Hamilton is thinking is he only has to get to about lap eight because he's already done three laps on the super-softs in qualifying. He obviously thinks he can drive the car in the current condition."

Lap 2It looked like a Williams touched Lewis Hamilton's and damaged the front wing. There's contact throughout the field as Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz clash. It's all happening.
Meanwhile, Jolyon Palmer is out of his Renault. The race over before it even started. Such a shame for the Briton.

All but Sergio Perez and Jolyon Palmer from 15th down have also gone for the softs.
The cars are away on their formation lap. Almost time...
