Daniil Kvyat, in eighth, has Max Verstappen lurking behind him, waiting for the chance to pounce. That chance presents itself when Kvyat locks up and Verstappen breezes past.

What chance of Verstappen leaping into Kvyat's seat next season? Moves like that will only help his cause...

Nico Rosberg responds to what's going on behind him by pitting himself. He slips into super soft boots but there's a little trouble doing up the laces. A slight delay dealing with the left rear and the stop was a bit slower than Mercedes would have liked. He's back out in first, but Kimi Raikkonen is nine seconds down the road now.

"It's fascinating to see that both Mercedes and Ferrari think it's worth putting on used super-soft tyres. Expect one more stop from both Hamilton and Raikkonen."

Kimi Raikkonen pitted from second and also took on super softs. All of the top 10 apart from Nico Rosberg (1st), Daniil Kvyat (fifth) and Felipe Nasr (10th) have made a second stop.
