Also looking like making a reappearance is Jolyon Palmer. He's popping his lid on so he should be back out in the Renault any moment.
Rosberg fastest in second practice, Raikkonen 2nd, Hamilton 3rd, Vettel 4th
Toro Rosso's Sainz finishes ahead of Red Bulls - Kvyat 15th

Repair work done, Fernando Alonso is back on the circuit. He's on mediums. The majority out on the track have the soft tyres on.
Fernando Alonso had his brand-spanking new plank put on a little earlier in this session, but he's only gone and damaged it. He ran wide and onto astroturf a little earlier and he's back in the garage having another new plank put into place.
As we head into long-run territory the top 10 is:
1) Ros 2) Rai 3) Ham 4) Vet 5) Sai 6) Ric 7) Alo 8) Ves 9) Per 10) Hul
Sebastian Vettel, here, with the look of a man who has just realised he's left the hob on.
Lewis Hamilton cracks on with his first soft tyre run today. Personal bests through the first two sectors but it's not enough to usurp Nico Rosberg as he goes third quickest, half a second slower than Kimi Raikkonen, who is P2. Looks like he fluffed it in the final sector.
A little update follows that initial message as Ferrari confirm a "fuel system problem" with Kimi Raikkonen's car.
"Slow down Kimi, slow down Kimi. We may have an issue."
Kimi Raikkonen swiftly obliges.
And, quelle surprise, it is P1 for Nico Rosberg. It's a 1:23.922, two tenths quicker than Kimi Raikkonen.
Mercedes on softs alert!
For the first time today, we are seeing the championship leaders give the yellow-walled tyres a go with Nico Rosberg on a soft-tyre run.
Imagine, after all the palaver about Daniil Kvyat and Max Verstappen swapping seats, that the Toro Rossos actually end up faster than the Red Bulls this weekend.
Of course it IS only practice, but that's the scenario at the moment.
Carlos Sainz is currently third fastest with 1:25.131 with Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen fourth and fifth quickest.
We haven't seen what Verstappen can do in this session with yellow boots on, though.
Sebastian Vettel is out for a run on softs. His lap is compromised by what Jack Nicholls described on commentary as "a lairy moment".
Take two coming up.

"Fernando Alonso is having a set up change. He's getting a new plank, which goes underneath the car. With Jenson, they are still not quite sure what happened but the bodywork is going back on. Whatever the problem was let's hope it was a short-lived one."
As a Yorkshireman, I approve of the use of "t'telly" here.
The K-Mag is out for a rumble around the circuit, soft tyres on, and he slots in eighth with 1:26.244.
