Max Verstappen was just three when Kimi Raikkonen made his F1 debut and today they were fighting for victory, a battle Verstappen won.

“He made the good exit of last corner, and had a gap of six or seven tenths,” Max's father, Jos, told NBC Sports.

"He knows how to race. I gave him a lot of experience but he does it. He has the capacity to do this well during the race.”

  16. I know my potential - Kvyatpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 15 May 2016

Daniil Kvyat is understandably not looking too happy, as Max Verstappen, the driver who replaced him at Red Bull earlier this month, wins on his debut for his new team.

Asked if he feels that Verstappen's victory could have been his, Kvyat tells Channel 4: "We will never know. I know my potential.

"I know I can win races and championships, but it looks like my way to that is more rocky. I just have to be a bit more patient."
