Quote MessageWe have seen someone who has just stamped himself as a future world champion. Most impressively for me Verstappen did 31 laps on these tyres which shows such technical ability and poise.
The records just keep on coming. He is also the youngest every driver to climb on the podium and the first ever Dutch F1 race winner.
His voice cracks as he thanks his team over the radio. The tears are flowing.
What have we just seen!!??
Max Verstappen, at 18, is a Formula 1 race winner.
He is the youngest ever winner of a Formula 1 race.
Incredible.
MAX VERSTAPPEN WINS THE SPANISH GRAND PRIX!!
THIS IS IT!
We could be about to witness history here. Max Verstappen is on the last lap and is about to win!!
Unbelievable!
Puncture for Daniel Ricciardo! He's pushed so hard but his top three hopes are over. Red Bull's hopes now rest with Max Verstappen. This is like something from the end of the original Star Wars film. All Red Bull hope with Verstappen.
Daniel Ricciardo is determined to snatch a place on the podium, he has clawed that gap between himself and Sebastian Vettel down to 0.3s.

Quote MessageThis is great for F1. This is a Red Bull without the engine upgrade. We didn't think we would see them challenging at this point of the season.
Two laps to go and the gap between Kimi Raikkonen and Max Verstappen is now ONE second.
It's getting bigger, not smaller. He's going to do this, isn't he?
Esteban Gutierrez is counting the cost of carrying on on some worn tyres. He has slipped out of the top 10 and is 11th now. Jenson Button, though, is on course for a top 10 finish.
Claire Cottingham:, external If anyone still says F1 is boring - I really don't know what more it can do. Excellent coverage from the @bbc5live, external team.
Rachel T:, external Second race where VET has asked, "What are we doing here?" Is Max making him feel old?
Sho Rahman:, external Vettel is such a baby. Just wants everyone to move out his way. It's why no one appreciated him as a champion.
Max Verstappen is FOUR laps away from being the youngest ever winner of a Formula 1 race.
He is 18 and in his first race weekend at Red Bull.
Incredible.
Like the Red Bull lot, I'm nervous. Would this be on par with Leicester City winning the Premier League? If Max Verstappen wins it is definitely an incredible story.
The gap between the Red Bull and Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari is still seven seconds.

Quote MessageIt is like being a pub watching England in the World Cup in a penalty shoot-out. That is what it is like in the Red Bull garage at the moment. There are a lot of nervous faces here.
There it is.
"If I don't avoid that he is going straight to my car! Honestly what are we doing? Racing or ping pong?"
