Ferrari respond to Mercedes' move and bring in Kimi Raikkonen, stick on the ultrasofts but Lewis Hamilton gets the undercut! Whoops and cheers in the Mercedes garage. Hamilton owes his team's strategists a beer. He is up to third.

Forty second between Lewis Hamilton in fourth and Max Verstappen in fifth, so the top four are out of reach. Verstappen's main priority is keeping a charging Sebastian Vettel at bay. Vetell is 2.5 seconds quicker than the Red Bull.
Sebastian Vettel pits from fifth and takes on more ultrasofts. He is back out in sixth, with Max Verstappen up to fifth.
Vettel got 18 laps out of the last set of ultras, so can get to the end of the race.

Daniel Ricciardo is 4.5 seconds behind Nico Rosberg and the Red Bull is clearly getting the Mercedes driver all hot and bothered.
His race engineer starts to inform Rosberg of the current gap, but the German snaps: "Stop telling me that!"

Such is the rollercaster nature of this year's championship, you can make up a lot of ground. Lewis will have a deficit as it stands but there is everything still to play for. You just need one weekend to go not to planned and you can fall away off the pace.
Kevin Magnussen, who was as high as seventh at one stage, is currently hovering just outside the top 10 after making his third stop of race to put on a fresh set of supersofts.

The fact that Lewis Hamilton can just find 0.8 seconds - it's proof enough that all of the cars have been very, very conservative. Everyone is worried about getting the cars to the end.
Lewis Hamilton turns up the wick. He is the fastest man on the circuit as he rattles off a 1:49.797 to shave a second off Kimi Raikkonen's advantage over him.
There roughly five seconds between each driver inside the top four. If, as it seems, the two Mercedes have brake problems, things could get interesting towards the end.
Sebastian Vettel, meanwhile is up to fifth but is currently on 15-laps old ultrasofts. He'll have to make another stop soon.

After conceding third to Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton is assured all is not lost. "There will still be opportunities towards the end of this race - use all of the power of unit."

Who would have expected a Ferrari to overtake a Mercedes? As we speak now, the Ferrari is the fastest car on the racetrack - it seems to be reacting really well to the soft tyre.
