    Forty second between Lewis Hamilton in fourth and Max Verstappen in fifth, so the top four are out of reach. Verstappen's main priority is keeping a charging Sebastian Vettel at bay. Vetell is 2.5 seconds quicker than the Red Bull.

    Vettel got 18 laps out of the last set of ultras, so can get to the end of the race.

    Daniel Ricciardo is 4.5 seconds behind Nico Rosberg and the Red Bull is clearly getting the Mercedes driver all hot and bothered.

    His race engineer starts to inform Rosberg of the current gap, but the German snaps: "Stop telling me that!"

    Such is the rollercaster nature of this year's championship, you can make up a lot of ground. Lewis will have a deficit as it stands but there is everything still to play for. You just need one weekend to go not to planned and you can fall away off the pace.

    The fact that Lewis Hamilton can just find 0.8 seconds - it's proof enough that all of the cars have been very, very conservative. Everyone is worried about getting the cars to the end.
