Seatbelt malfunction for Valtteri Bottas. He is in the pits for what - in F1 terms - feels like an age as adjustments are made and he is eventually sent back out on his way, but down in 19th.

Nico Rosberg and Kimi Raikkonen pit for softs and Lewis Hamilton is temporarily elevated into the lead.

Kenny Kong: Great overtaking Kimi!

No such concern for Kimi Raikkonen. He is right up behind Lewis Hamilton and very much in overtake territory. Under pressure from the Ferrari, Hamilton locks up down to Turn 10 and the Finn nips in down the inside to move into P3.

Race leader Nico Rosberg's race engineer: "Remember to drink, and a little bit more brake management."

Does Rosberg really need a reminder to rehydrate? Or just an excuse to mention brakes again?

Long old race this one. We've just passed the midway point and Daniel Ricciardo is struggling to close in on Nico Rosberg. He pits to swap supersofts for softs.

Quixotic geek: Really impressive showing from Alonso here. Really hoping he can hang on to that 5th, or maybe even better.

Emanuele C: looks like @LewisHamilton, external is blaming the team again when he isn't winning.

Marcus P Knight: Midway Singapore GP, Raikkonen flying. Life in the #redseason, external old-dog yet! Good to see.

Ferrari are on the hunt and Kimi Raikkonen takes three tenths of a second off Lewis Hamilton's advantage over him in third.

Kimi Raikkonen's race engineer: "So we are still getting messages that Hamilton is in big trouble with brakes."

Lewis Hamilton is not happy at all with how this race is unfolding for him, and he is clinging on to the hope that Nico Rosberg is also having to contend with the same problem he has.

"Does the other car have the same issue?" he asks. He is told that it does.
