Rosberg is also in clear air. He's had no cars in front of him to cause an overheating so at this stage it looks like a serious problem for him.

You'd have to say battle on between the top three but Daniel Ricciardo certainly isn't being dropped by Rosberg.

The stewards don't like the look of some damage on Carlos Sainz's car that was caused by that early collision with Nico Hulkenberg. He is shown the black and orange flag, meaning he has to pit to get it sorted.

Carlos Sainz got quite a clobbering from Nico Hulkenberg and his Toro Rosso does look damaged - I would say it's a compromised car.

The safety car period seemed to end very suddenly considering the amount of debris on the track. They cleary didn't communicate that to all the Singapore marshals because that marshal was still working on the track.

  19. Lap 3/61published at 13:13 British Summer Time 18 September 2016

That safety car caught many of us by surprise with how quickly it went in. There didn't appear to be any on screen notice and it also caught a marshal unaware as the camera cut to a chap legging it off the track just as Nico Rosberg came round. He got off just in time, but that was close!
