Second practice is under way!
Sebastian Vettel is in no rush to head out. He's gone for a wander down to the Red Bull garage to catch up with some old friends.
Lost Droids: If I were Jenson I'd leave a kipper under the seat ready for when Alonso returns.

Chris Marsh: If I were Jenson I would be using Alonso's catchphrases over team radio. "Fastest in the corners. GP2 Engine"

Jenson's here for one race and one race only. If I were him, I'd be getting up to all sorts of japes and tomfoolery.
If you were in Button's shoes, what antics would you get up to knowing that you don't have to face the repercussions in future race weekends? Fill Daniel Ricciardo's race boots with champagne (although, he does that anyway)? Switch Lewis Hamilton's playlist songs to the Sound of Music soundtrack?

Mercedes appear to have a small edge on Ferrari at this early stage and Red Bull look to have taken a further step towards the top two teams after progress at the last race in Barcelona.
Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes led Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari by 0.196 seconds in first practice as Red Bull's Max Verstappen took third from the second Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas.
Hamilton spent the first part of the session swapping fastest times with Bottas but edged clear by 0.366secs.
Hello! Welcome along to our coverage of second practice for the Monaco Grand Prix.
Jenson Button's McLaren return for this race has dominated the headlines in recent days and the Briton did a solid job in his first time inside a 2017 car. He finished with the 14th quickest time, with the only issue he had the placement of the steering wheel buttons - he accidentally put his car in neutral at one point. A minor niggle.
Otherwise it was a familiar name at the top of the timesheet as Lewis Hamilton, going for his third win in Monaco, finished quickest. More of the same this afternoon?
Made it round the first corner? Check.
Car didn't break down? Check.
Didn't roll into a pool? Check
Pressed all the right buttons? Nope.
Three out of four ain't bad, Jenson.
Right, time for us to take a breather, maybe even enjoy the sun for a bit. We're back with build up to second practice at 12:30 BST.
If you have a bit of spare time, have a crack at our Jenson Button in Monaco quiz here. It's got pictures of Austin Powers and all sorts.
Meanwhile, a solid return for Jenson Button. The Briton's first experience of a 2017 F1 car sees him go 14th quickest for McLaren. Decent.
Lewis Hamilton finished two tenths quicker than Sebastian Vettel with Max Verstappen just three-and-a-half-tenths of a second off the pace. Close between three different teams.
1) Hamilton 2) Vettel 3) Verstappen 4) Bottas 5) Ricciardo 6) Kvyat 7) Raikkonen 8) Perez 9) Sainz 10) Ocon
11) Massa 12) Vandoorne 13) Magnussen 14) Button 15) Grosjean 16) Stroll 17) Palmer 18) Wehrlein 19) Hulkenberg 20) Ericsson
Lewis Hamilton finishes fastest in first practice for the Monaco Grand Prix.
