A significant milestone for Mercedes as Valtteri Bottas completes his 31st lap of the day. That's takes the team beyond 1,000 laps during the eight days of testing. They've driven almost 2,900 miles - like road tripping it from Silverstone to Kazakhstan.

That 1:19.852 on soft tyres is a properly good lap time from Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. On tyre offset, it’s quicker than Sebastian Vettel’s fastest time of the winter yesterday. Yes, we know Vettel could have gone faster - and fuel- and tyre-corrected as best we can do, Vettel’s best time correlates to a 1:19.3 on softs. But it proves Red Bull are in the ballpark at least.
And it's the quickest lap of the day and quickest so far for Red Bull as Max Verstappen crosses the line in 1:19.852 on those softs.
Max Verstappen is straight back out after the restart and is purple through the first two sectors. He's got soft tyres bolted on the Red Bull.

Back goes the thumbs up picture.
Sad face.
