13:39 BST 7 July 2017The camera is spending a lot of time lingering on Fernando Alonso in the McLaren garage, the TV director clearly hopeful that the Spaniard will do something to give us all as good laugh, as is his wont.
Alonso is just sitting there for now though, looking pretty chilled.
His team have just brought the new floor in and are bolting it on to the McLaren.

13:34 BST 7 July 2017If you're listening to the 5 live commentary you no doubt heard Jack Nicholls talking about the great delight he took in hearing an audio clip of Kimi Raikkonen angrily demanding his steering wheel at the last race in Baku.
Well, Jack wasn't wrong. It's highly amusing.

13:30 BST 7 July 2017While Bottas explores the scenery surrounding the track, team-mate Hamilton is very much doing the business on it as he goes fastest with a 1:05.483 - 0.147s up on Vettel.

13:26 BST 7 July 2017Valtteri Bottas off between Turns Six and Seven. He just avoids the wall on the outside.
That's where Max Verstappen went off earlier and did clip the wall, so Bottas did well there.
In the magnificently chosen words of our own Allan McNish, he just "managed to avoid wanging into the barrier there".

13:22 BST 7 July 2017Sergio Perez's Force India is up and running, leaving Max Verstappen on his lonesome in the pits.
The team are reporting it was a brake issue that has required the floor to be taken off and a few tickles to be made.
It'll still be a few minutes before he gets out.

Simon Johnson: Should Vettel have been disqualified? Absolutely and three race ban!!! Like in other sports! Team should publicly reprimand him.
Reece Young: Without a doubt Vettel should been disqualified. It's sets a bad standard. Shows if you do that you won't be punished severely.
Steve Pearce: Can we move on from the Vettel/Hamilton thing? Decision made (like it or not!), case closed, no further comments necessary!
Two cars still to set timepublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 7 July 2017
13:17 BST 7 July 2017Sergio Perez's Force India and Red Bull's Max Verstappen are both still to set times.
Unspecified problems with both cars. Perez missed FP1 so this is precious time being lost, while Verstappen has had more than his share of reliability issue this year and this won't improve his mood.

13:15 BST 7 July 2017Marcus Ericsson's Sauber has taken a trip through the gravel midway round the track. We've already seen Romain Grosjean's Haas sail off at Turn 10.
The drivers are continuing to struggle on this slippery track,
