10:29 BST 7 July 2017If I had a pound for every time a Toro Rosso has been off track in this session...
I'd have, er, £4.
Carlos Sainz gets in very wrong into Turn Ten and takes to the run-off.

10:27 BST 7 July 2017Max Verstappen has broken the Mercedes one-two at the front, he posts a time three tenths slower than Hamilton, although the Red Bull man was on the ultrasoft and Hamilton the supersoft.

10:18 BST 7 July 2017Only practice I know, but those hitherto dismal McLarens are actually faring OK in this session.
Vandoorne is in P7 on a 1:07.283, four tenths off Raikkonen, while team-mate Alonso is in ninth on a 1:07.510.
Reasons for optimism?

10:15 BST 7 July 2017That early spin and flat-spotted tyres put Raikkonen a little on the back foot in this session.
He's slowly coming back and has improved to fifth place on a 1:06.848. He's four tenths of team-mate Vettel.

Kayleigh: Grew up in Northampton. Everyone, even non F1 fans, knows when it's time for the Grand Prix. It can't leave Silverstone.
Ben Ashcroft: A street circuit in London would be appalling. The British GP needs to be on a proper track - preferably Silverstone.
Stuart Hawkins: Feasible to go to a different track each year? By that I mean proper track, not a temporary street circuit.

Our leader Valtteri Bottas spins it in Turn One. As all before him, he gathers it up and continues merrily on his way.

10:05 BST 7 July 2017The Haas of Romain Grosjean has picked up a puncture after going heavily over the kerbs in the final couple of turns. He's got a very flat front-left tyre and is dragging the underbelly of that car along the ground, sparks flying.
Meanwhile, Daniil Kvyat spins the Toro Rosso into Turn 10.

10:01 BST 7 July 2017Carlos Sainz is the latest driver to lose it in Turn One. He rights his Toro Rosso and gets on his way. A bit like Vettel's incident earlier.

10:00 BST 7 July 2017While all the cars are in their garages, I thought I'd take this opportunity to share a nugget of F1-related info that I learned yesterday that blew my tiny mind.
The DAD of two-time GP winner Peter Revson, who was killed aged 35 while testing in South Africa in 1974, only himself died in June 2016!
Martin Revson, a key player in the formation of the Revlon cosmetics empire, died in America in his 106th year. An impressive innings.
That's up there with the mindblowing fact that US president John Tyler, who served from 1841 to 1845 and was born in 1790, still has two surviving grandsons., external
