Esteban Ocon turned in and didn't give Kimi Raikkonen a single bit of room. Also, Sergey Sirotkin has also been in the wall, it might be at Turn 2.
A terrible start to Fernando Alonso. He has a puncture and has to absolutely crawl back into the pits. He is still in the race, just about.
Lap 1/57
Who had lap one in the safety car sweepstake?
And Sergey Sirotkin is out as well. Ocon's car is lying still on one side of a turn, Sergey Sirotkin's Williams on the other. One lap, two gone already.
Kimi Raikkonen dives in the inside corner of Esteban Ocon, the pair collide and Ocon is into the wall. He started seventh and the race is done already for the Force India man.
Sebastian Vettel makes a good start, he gets to the opening corner cleanly.
Sergio Perez claimed the seventh podium finish of his career in the first grand prix to ever be held in Azerbaijan back in June 2016.
But the Force India man has not got to taste the champagne on the podium at any race since then.

Last season was a miserable one for McLaren's Fernando Alonso. He picked up 17 points and only finished in the top 10 five times - ninth in Azerbaijan, sixth in Hungary, 10th in Mexico, eighth in Brazil and ninth in Abu Dhabi.
But after only three races of 2018 he has already surpassed that total after coming fifth in Australia and seventh in both Bahrain and China.
Fernando Alonso, who lines up 12th on the grid, speaking to Sky Sports: "We will see what we can do. We will take some gambles probably and see what will be the final place."
And here is Alonso with Christina Aguilera.

On the basis of tyre wear and degradation, this is a slam-dunk one-stop race, with Pirelli predicting the best strategy being to start on the super-soft - as all the top five will - and then change to the soft.
Ultra-soft then soft is the next best, but that means a first stint about half the length of one on the super-soft. If it’s a two-stop, the best is said to be one set of ultras and two of supers. But everyone is wary of a possible safety car.
There was not one at the first race in Baku, despite all the predictions, and it was a very dull race. But last year’s action-fest was more like most expect these races on this track to be.
