    In practice we saw a number of drivers overshoot a corner and go into the run-off area. Marcus Ericsson, 16th out of 17 running, has just done the same, but is able to reverse back on to the track to stay in it.

    • Sebastian Vettel holds the lead from Lewis Hamilton.
    • Safety car comes out on first lap after clashes through the field.
    • Fernando Alonso suffers puncture after being hit by Sergey Sirotkin. Alonso limps back without one of his tyres but manages to get back on circuit. He's currently 12th.
    • Red Bull struggling with battery issues.
    • Sirotkin, Esteban Ocon and Nico Hulkenberg out of race.
