It was an opportunistic do or die move. Instead of taking the lead, Vettel is down to fourth!

We have four laps left. This restart when it happens is going to be mad. I think we will see fireworks down at Turn 1.
Lap 47/51
The safety car is coming in. A four-lap sprint to end a sensational Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton: "Tell [race director] Charlie [Whiting] that he should have stopped the race. The back corner of that recovery truck could easily be smashed into."
Twenty started, 14 remain.
The men out: Grosjean, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Ocon, Sirotkin.
Lap 47/51
The mangled Haas of Romain Grosjean is now on the back of the recovery truck. Lewis Hamilton wants us to get going again.

Lap 46/51
Now only a potential five laps to go. Will it finish under the safety car? If it does Valtteri Bottas has the win, Sebastian Vettel will be second, Lewis Hamilton third and Kimi Raikkonen fourth.
Lap 46/51
Lap 45/51
Sergio Perez, with no points this season, is in fifth. Carlos Sainz is sixth, Charles Leclerc seventh in his Sauber, on course for his first points finish ever.
Lance Stroll eighth, Fernando Alonso ninth after a huge puncture on lap one and Kevin Magnussen 10th.
Still no action on the track other than the Grosjean rescue mission.
The lap tally goes up to 44, out of 51. We now have a safety car as Grosjean's Haas has to be picked up out of the wall.
At the moment, Valtteri Bottas has the lead. Will that be it?
IG: WHY HAS GROSJEAN RUINED THIS RACE! This better not end under SC.
Reece Young: That's a sackable offence that. Losing it under safety car. Shocking stuff
