    So, so cruel luck for Valtteri Bottas. He is three laps from his fourth race win, he runs over some debris, his tyre explodes and Bottas is out.

    Hamilton attacks Sebastian Vettel, Vettel responds by diving inside Valtteri Bottas, Vettel locks up badly and goes wide.

    Vettel had the lead and is now fourth. Great drama.

    Now only a potential five laps to go. Will it finish under the safety car? If it does Valtteri Bottas has the win, Sebastian Vettel will be second, Lewis Hamilton third and Kimi Raikkonen fourth.

    Lap 46/51

    • Red Bulls crash into each other, bringing out a second safety car.
    • Romain Grosjean then crashes under the safety car.
    • Sebastian Vettel had led for 41 laps. A lock up forced Lewis Hamilton to pit earlier than expected but safety car could help Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
    • Safety car also came out on first lap after clashes through the field.
    • Fernando Alonso suffers puncture after being hit by Sergey Sirotkin. Alonso limps back without one of his tyres but manages to get back on circuit. He's currently 12th.
    • Sirotkin, Esteban Ocon, Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo and Grosjean out of the race.

    Sergio Perez, with no points this season, is in fifth. Carlos Sainz is sixth, Charles Leclerc seventh in his Sauber, on course for his first points finish ever.

    Lance Stroll eighth, Fernando Alonso ninth after a huge puncture on lap one and Kevin Magnussen 10th.

    Still no action on the track other than the Grosjean rescue mission.

    The lap tally goes up to 44, out of 51. We now have a safety car as Grosjean's Haas has to be picked up out of the wall.

    At the moment, Valtteri Bottas has the lead. Will that be it?
