Verstappen fastest in both practice sessions, Sainz & Vandoorne hit the wall
Final practice & qualifying on Saturday from 16:00 BST
Michael Emons
Image source, .Not as heavy as Carlos Sainz's bang earlier on, but Stoffel Vandoorne has just got his angles wrong and scrapped the right side of his car against the wall.
The front right hits the wall, and then the impact also causes a puncture to the rear right. He has to retreat on to some grass with his car needing to be rescued.
We have a virtual safety car situation, but Vandoorne looks all fine, just a bit annoyed with himself.

"What's your main limitation?" That's the rather deep-sounding question Romain Grosjean is hit with.
"Er, I don't know," is the reply from a rather baffled Frenchman. Wisely he avoided temptation and did not say "my car".
No points this season for him, but a much better day today. In 12th earlier on and he is currently fifth, with Verstappen, Raikkonen, Hamilton and Bottas the men ahead of him.
He was quickest in session one and now he is quickest in session two. The new mark to beat is a 1:12.198

Image source, .Who would you like to see replaced in Formula 1 and why? Who would you replace them with?
Robbie Plant: If Brendon Hartley doesnt improve his performance soon, then I would like to see either Jean-Eric Vergne or Sebastien Buemi replace him. They have certainly became more complete and all-round drivers since their Toro Rosso days.
JJ Jackson: Although no fan of Stroll, Williams are just not up to the mark with the car. Surely Force India have a smaller budget but are doing well. That said, Williams need a proper leader...just imagine if Alonso had been there for the last three years...
Lance Stroll, a man under a lot of pressure and heavily criticised by a lot of you lot today, has just been told to calm it down a bit.
The Canadian wants to improve on his 17th at the moment but is told by his team: "Last corner you are too quick in entry so you nearly crash again."
Image source, Rex FeaturesA great lap for Kimi Raikkonen, who throws in a 1:12.328, more than four tenths quicker than Lewis Hamilton's best mark. Max Verstappen is third, Valtteri Bottas fourth, Sebastian Vettel ninth.
Daniel Ricciardo is slowest, with his car being frantically worked on.
Image source, Getty ImagesRed Bull are getting to work on Daniel Ricciardo's car. Remember, we thought he was going to get a grid penalty earlier this week, only for the Australian to say they wouldn't be getting one.
Now, who knows?
Image source, Getty ImagesWe have an interested spectator, enjoying a money-can't-buy view of the action.
Just stay behind the line little fella, stay behind the line.
Image source, .Back under way. In all that Sainz excitement, we had not told you that Lewis Hamilton had gone even faster and his time of 1:12.777 is by far the best time of the day.
Yesterday he said he was expecting a "difficult weekend". Today, maybe less so.
Image source, Getty ImagesSome nervous faces in the Renault garage as they study the damage to Carlos Sainz's car after he just slid at speed into the wall.
Image source, .For the second time today we have a red flag, after Nico Hulkenberg's car broke down earlier today on the track.
Two red flags, both for Renault drivers. Carlos Sainz has got his battered car back into the pits but there is a lot of damage to the back of his car.
A costly mistake and that could be his day done. He will be hoping no grid penalties come his way as well.
The yellow flags are out, but wait...
A big smash for Carlos Sainz. He spins and cannot stop the back of his Renault sliding into the wall at some pace.

Who would you like to see replaced in Formula 1 and why? Who would you replace them with?
Kirby Marketing: Get rid of paying drivers? Wasn't Herr Lauda a paying driver to begin with? Now we would pay to spend an hour in the company of a three-time World Champion, airline owner and successful F1 team executive.
Kayleigh: Let’s put; - Danny Ricciardo in the Ferrari with Sebastian Vettel. - Alex Lynn in the Williams with Sergey Sirotkin. - Hulkenberg to Red Bull with Max Verstappen - Jack Aitken in the Renault with Sainz - Norris in the McLaren with Stoffel.
Kayleigh, speaking of Alex Lynn, you may well be interested to watch an excellent feature our friends at BBC Newsbeat made with the British driver as they followed his progress during his first full season driving for DS Virgin Racing in Formula E. Click on the link below to see the full programme.

Hamilton goes fastest in sector one, fastest in sector two and fastest in sector three. A time of 1:13.347, still not as quick as Verstappen earlier but the best we've got so far in session two.
Valtteri Bottas goes second, Raikkonen third, but more than a second slower than Hamilton.
Image source, Getty ImagesLewis Hamilton is out on the red supersoft tyre. Second in session one for the world champion and 2018 championship leader.
Who would you like to see replaced in Formula 1 and why? Who would you replace them with?
petert1401: Stroll, sadly, is keeping Williams afloat at the moment. It's really sad when a once-great team has to resort to paid drivers instead of good ones. Come on Liberty, sort it out before Williams and others go under!
peter clews: After his comment in Monaco, Stroll should at least be made to sit a race or 2 out. Let Kubica show him what it means to race.
The lad Stroll is certainly getting a bit of stick today. He is also giving more ammunition to his critics as he is the slowest of the 13 to have set a lap so far in session two.
