The times are getting faster and Kimi Raikkonen is still at the top of the times, thanks to a 1:14.382. No sign of Ricciardo, Vettel, Verstappen, Hamilton or Bottas so far.
Renault are busy. Carlos Sainz is already out there and Nico Hulkenberg, whose first session was ruined with a gear issue, is getting ready to go.
An early 1:16.677 for Renault's Carlos Sainz.
Kimi Raikkonen, sixth earlier on, is the first to stick a time down in session two with a 1:16.158, but well short of Max Verstappen's 1:13.302 in session one.
It's nice out...
We are under way, well officially any way. Another 90 minutes to go and the cameras focus on Max Verstappen casually chatting away with his mechanics so he won't be out there any time soon.

Who would you like to see replaced in Formula 1 and why? Who would you replace them with?
Paul Leggett: You lose Stroll, you lose Williams. That's where we are I'm afraid nowadays.
Mark Roberts: Will be popular this - Sirotkin with Kubica.
Euan: All this hate for Lance Stroll. Give the poor lad a break! He's only been in the sport a year and a bit. How many decent drivers would be left if they had been kicked out after less then three seasons? Let the lad find his feet.
We are seeing the line-up for the second practice session and it is the 20 you would expect, so Sergio Perez (pictured) comes back in to replace Formula 2 driver Nicholas Latifi, who got a go earlier on.
He would have been hoping for more though as he was the slowest of the 19 to set a time and more than two seconds slower than Force India's Esteban Ocon.
Can you predict the future? OK, next question, prove it.
Predict the top three for Sunday's race and brag along to your friends. Take part over here.
What's happened this season? Well, I could waffle on, or just point you in the direction of a colourful chart, so here you go.
Who would you like to see replaced in Formula 1 and why? Who would you replace them with?
Simon Nelms: F1 needs to get rid of paying drivers. They should be there on talent alone, not because they have backing. Start by losing Stroll and replace with Di Resta or Kubica.
Bob McFeil: How can people expect Williams to do well when they have drivers who are as reliable as the weather in London?

Romain Grosjean, without a point this season, is staying positive...
Max Verstappen was quickest, both Williams cars hit walls and Nico Hulkenberg had a gear problem and could not set a time.
Want some more F1 action? You're in the right place.
And that's your lot for session one. We are going to take a break and we will see you again for session two later on.
That starts at 19:00 BST and we will be up and running again at 18:30 BST. See you then.

A good first session for Lewis Hamilton - second place, but on a slower tyre. He's always a threat round here. He's started off pretty well.

Max Verstappen is fastest in first practice for the Canadian Grand Prix, one day after suggesting he would "headbutt" someone.

Just a simple oversteer for Sergey Sirotkin at the end there. Seems like a bit of nothing really. I'll be amazed if he's got away from that scot free, though. It's been a tough session for Williams - they're only ahead of Force India's reserve driver, Nicholas Latifi, and Nico Hulkenberg, who hasn't set a time.
For the first time this season, Max Verstappen is quickest in a session.
Amid all this talk of crashes, and sillyness of headbutting media critics, the Dutchman has answered his doubters in the best way possible.
Team-mate Daniel Ricciardo is third, with Lewis Hamilton the meat in the Red Bull sandwich, sort of.
Then comes Sebastian Vettel, Valtteri Bottas had been the quickest out there early on but comes fifth, with Kimi Raikkonen sixth.
Nico Hulkenberg fails to set a time with a gear issue. Both Williams clipped walls with Sergey Sirotkin 17th and Lance Stroll 18th. Newcomer Nicholas Latifi will be disappointed to have only been 19th after being given a chance to impress on loan from Formula 2.
