Daniel Ricciardo headed team-mate Max Verstappen to a Red Bull one-two in both Friday practice sessions at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Australian saw off the Dutchman by 0.194 seconds in the second session on Thursday afternoon as both enjoyed a comfortable margin over their rivals. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was third from title rival Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton was 0.123secs behind the German but had a messy session and appeared to have more pace in the car. The world champion, who has a 17-point lead over Vettel after five races, made a few errors that compromised his overall lap time.
But there will be questions as to whether Mercedes are struggling in Monaco for the second year in succession after he said over the radio that something did not feel right while he was doing a race-simulation run on the super-soft tyre, the hardest of the three compounds available this weekend.
These are the times from FP2. All cars got some decent time out on the track. There will be some happy faces in the Red Bull garages.
The choice is yours...
So, work for Mercedes and Ferrari to do. The cars will next be on the track on Saturday with FP3 taking place at 11:00 before qualifying at 14:00 BST.
A perfect day for Daniel Ricciardo. Fastest in session one and fastest in session two. Just like earlier on, his team-mate Max Verstappen is next in line.

David Taggart: Monaco is surely to F1 what St. Andrews is to golf. Just a special place that captures the heart of the sport.
Danny Richardson: Why are fans complaining about Monaco? This is the circuit that tests a driver's competence. Maybe revert back to the older cars for overtaking.
Graham Holliday: Monaco so few opportunities for overtaking so inspite of the glamour views & immediacy of the event it's not a good racing circuit.
Five minutes to go, and Red Bull and Daniel Ricciardo are on course to be the quickest for a second successive session.
Carlos Sainz scrapes his Renault against the wall and it is back to the garage for him.

Chris Walker: Don’t know why there are so many negative comments about Monaco. There are now several other street circuits in the programme where overtaking is similarly difficult. Monaco is a stunning venue and a challenge for any racing driver. Long may it continue!
Rachel T: The Monaco GP should be held in the autumn - rain, wind and a bit of ice would jazz it up brilliantly.
Or...
Adam Travers: I still think Monaco would be a great start of the season race, just like rally, opening race, look at the cars parade them and then on with the season!
Amid the glitz and glamour of Monte Carlo, can Lewis Hamilton extend his winning streak?
The Red Bull pair have had a good Thursday. Will they have a good Sunday?
"Something smells a bit strange in the car," is the worrying message coming from Carlos Sainz's team radio. He is 10th as things stand.

Have a bit of that. He was very strong in the middle sector. I said that was where Ricciardo needed to improve and he gained two tenths on his team-mate there.
I said we weren't expecting many changes in the top 10. Well, no-one told Daniel Ricciardo, who has just smashed the track record with a lap of 1:11.841, nearly two tenths quicker than his team-mate.
Red Bull are third in the constructors' championship, 46 points behind Ferrari but this is a great chance on Sunday to massively close that gap.
But it could well be another weekend to forget for Williams. Sergey Sirotkin has the bragging rights as he is quicker than team-mate Lance Stroll but that is not amazing as Sirotkin is 15th and Stroll 19th.
Panic over at McLaren. Well, for now at least. Stoffel Vandoorne is now eighth fastest with Fernando Alonso also in the top 10, at number nine.
As we have mentioned, father and son Keke and Nico Rosberg got to race alongside each other through the Monaco streets in between the sessions.
Nico has tweeted his appreciation.
Max Verstappen shaves his time down even further. We will start seeing the long runs so there may not be too much movement in the top 10 from now on.
