    Lap 26/52

Lewis Hamilton comes out in sixth, behind Kimi Raikkonen, and around 28 seconds behind Sebastian Vettel. Hamilton suggested on his team radio that he was going to pit at the end of Lap 24 - it looks as if he's coming in one lap later instead. He's set to go on to the fresh medium tyres, and then really start to attack Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel, remember, has been struggling with a neck problem this weekend.

Every time the crowd sees footage of Lewis Hamilton overtaking a driver, a huge roar and loud applause comes from the fans opposite the start line.

Hamilton has only once in 11 previous British Grands Prix finished outside the points - in 2009 when he came 16th - and only a further three times when he has not ended up on the podium.

Despite that spin after the early collision with Kiki Raikkonen, you still would not rule out Hamilton getting inside the top three again.
