One piece of admin to tidy up from FP1 for you. Kevin Magnussen, who was 14th in the Haas, was told to report to the stewards after being accused of dangerous driving in an incident with Fernando Alonso.
The Dane appeared to veer at Alonso's car on the Wellington Straight towards Turn Six after the two tripped over each other through the first corner.
However, the stewards have ruled that there is no need for further action.
Stoffel Vandoorne, straight out on to the track, reports that he has no power. The McLaren garage tells him to cool the car and he'll be fine.
"We wanted a slow out lap anyway," comes the message to Vandoorne. "We're confident that when it cools down, we'll be OK."

Fernando Alonso has a bandage on his right hand. I've asked McLaren what's going on, and they say he's fine. He's obviously not fine, because he has a bandage on his right hand, but they won't tell me any more than that.
We're online only with BBC Radio 5 live commentary as FP2 gets going - the World Cup and Wimbledon being the reasons for that. If you refresh your browser and click the icon at the top of this page, you can listen to Jack Nicholls, Jolyon Palmer and our pit lane reporter Jennie Gow talk you through the action.
Force India celebrated its 200th Grand Prix by taking sixth and seventh places in a gripping Austrian Grand Prix last weekend, but it's well-known that their finances are not the healthiest. Our chief F1 writer Andrew Benson has been on the tail of Vijay Mallya as to what the team's future holds...

What is Britishness?
Inge: Well, I live in Romania, and much of the Britishness here arrives filtered via Hollywood. Midsomer Murders or Poirot. For me classical British looks like David Niven.
Verstappen himself was not without stress in that opening practice session, suffering gearbox problems towards its end and causing a yellow flag as he pulled in at the side of the track.
Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, did not appear too concerned, though.
The start of FP2 is less than 10 minutes away.

Max is right - that has indeed been the question so far. It is a question that Romain Grosjean got wrong in FP1. Thankfully, the Haas driver was able to walk away from this nasty crash with nothing more than wounded pride.
His car's not so good, though - the chassis is, to use a mechanical term, knackered, and so Grosjean will sit out FP2.

Mercedes are looking damn strong.
The Silverstone track, only resurfaced in February, is very, very bumpy.
And today is International Kissing Day. (Thanks to reader Chris Marsh for the last one. This picture isn't him.)
On the subject of football, Hamilton says he will fly to Russia if England make it to the World Cup final, which is a week on Sunday.
He told Sky Sports: "The final is next Sunday and I've booked that day off, kept it free, because I want to be in Russia that day supporting them!
"I've booked my ticket - I'm ready to go!"
'But how will he get a ticket?' I hear you ask.
He won't need one - Gareth Southgate will sneak him in under his waistcoat.
Perfect weekends
Hamilton is looking for his perfect sporting weekend - a home win in the British Grand Prix, and a win for England's footballers tomorrow in their World Cup quarter-final against Sweden.
But what would be your perfect weekend? Tell me, please, via Twitter, using the hashtag #bbcf1.
Surely the only thing that's even more British than an episode of Bargain Hunt is this photograph. Lewis Hamilton, there, winning his fourth successive British Grand Prix - and his fifth in all - a year ago next weekend.
Hamilton, fastest in first practice today, has made the ideal start as he chases a record sixth grand prix victory at Silverstone.
Welcome back. On this most British of sporting weekends, I've been really ramping up my sense of Britishness during the break by watching an episode of Bargain Hunt.
I don't think there's anything more British than watching two teams in matching jackets chase round an antique fair for hours in the hope of winning £12.
A reader's request, at the Grand Prix that brings you Becketts Corner:
Richard Ashton: Please kick off FP2 with Vladimir and Estragon.
Estragon: "Let's go."
Vladimir: "We can't."
Estragon: "Why not?"
Vladimir: "We're waiting for McLaren."
Andrew Benson's analysis of FP1 is going live on the site, so head over via this link to have a read.
I'll be back with commentary on FP2 from 13:30. Having started FP1 with Ronnie Corbett, which much-loved British comedian will I use to kick things off this time? Well, that would be telling, wouldn't it? Although I am open to suggestions. See you in a bit.
Usual six at the top - with a one-two for Mercedes, the Ferraris in third and fifth, and the Red Bulls fourth and sixth.
Romain Grosjean was best of the rest, despite running his Haas into the wall with around half-an-hour of the session to go.
I haven't cut Williams much slack when I've been on live text duty, so credit is due to Lance Stroll for going 10th fastest.
