It is a Ferrari one-two at the moment. And we've not had a race finish that way so far in 2018. Only one second between leader Raikkonen and second-placed Vettel.

Dark clouds overhead. That could still have a huge say on the winner of this one. A lot of drivers have not pitted yet, hoping for that rain to come.

That's Daniel Ricciardo's fourth retirement of the season after also failing to finish in Bahrain, Azerbaijan and Austria.

He has also won in China and Monaco. A season of what might have been for the Australian.

Good job from the marshals there and for Daniel Ricciardo for parking in a sensible place to avoid the need for a virtual safety car. It was about 60 seconds for the marshals to get the car off the track. It's been a tough weekend for Ricciardo.

Four race leaders so far, but because of those in front coming into the pits, not the overtakes we were hoping for. The relay baton is now in Kimi Raikkonen's hands but may have to pit again after coming in first out of everyone.

  19. Can Vettel last on the softs?published at 14:48 British Summer Time 22 July 2018

    Jolyon Palmer

I think Vettel can go to the end in softs. He has come in 12 laps later than Raikkonen. If Raikkonen could somehow nurse those soft tyres to the end, he would be the net leader, but surely he is on a two-stop strategy.

I'm sure Ferrari would be on the radio to Raikkonen, telling him to let Vettel through at the earliest opportunity.
