    Those on ultrasofts would expect to come in to change in the next 10 laps. But they have to make a decision with possible rain in mind. Those on the ultrasoft tyres might hold out for longer if there's a chance of rain, because if they pit first and then it rains, they'll have to come in again for slicks - and they'll lose valuable time.

    Mercedes have come in for stick recently because of strategy decisions - they've a big one to make here. If they stay out too long and it doesn't rain, they might go past the optimum dry strategy.

    Elsewhere, we have two Haas still in the points with Kevin Magnussen fifth and Romain Grosjean ninth. There are also two Renaults there too with Hulkenberg seventh and Sainz 10th. Sergio Perez is eighth for Force India.

    Hamilton up to sixth. Nico Hulkenberg is the latest to be helpless to the Mercedes man.

    The Briton went from 18th to second two weeks ago, and has now gone from 14th to 6th here. Stunning stuff. What a racer.

    • Threat of rain – which Raikkonen reported seeing on his visor early on
    • Lewis Hamilton climbs to seventh after starting 14th – making good progress through the midfield – Daniel Ricciardo, on medium tyres, up to 13th from 19th.
    • Sergio Perez is eighth – having passed Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Romain Grosjean.
    • Vettel started on pole, Hamilton in 14th after hydraulics failure in Q1, Ricciardo and Gasly started at back of grid with power unit penalties

    Daniel Ricciardo is slowly making his way through the field. Up to 14th after taking the inside line to catch out Marcus Ericsson. That is 14th for the Australian from 19th, but he has got a lot more to do.

    Another lap, another place gained for Lewis Hamilton. Romain Grosjean drops another place, first Perez, then Hamilton and that leaves the Haas man ninth and the world champion eighth.
