What of Sebastian Vettel? Now seventh, Esteban Ocon and Romain Grosjean in sixth and fifth shouldn't cause too many problems.

Mercedes were out in the pit lane and Hamilton was so close to Raikkonen on that lap. I'm sure Hamilton saw Raikkonen pit and thought: 'I can't do the same. I have to try something different.'

Before he dived into the pits, Kimi Raikkonen had led more laps in this race than the rest of the whole of the season. Can he get back into the lead when everyone else pits?

"We need to push," says a worried-sounding Ferrari engineer.

Kimi Raikkonen goes into the pits first, and comes back out in fourth place.

Lewis Hamilton inherits the lead. "It's Hammer time," say Mercedes.

That's the signal to basically drive like crazy and go for it. The next few laps are going to be crucial in this race.

I said Sergio Perez would not put up much of a fight to hold off Sebastian Vettel, and he didn't. Vettel eighth.

Further up the track Valtteri Bottas attacks Max Verstappen, who has to go over the kerb, but manages to hold on to third.

"He was nowhere near a pass there Max, you didn't need to worry," Verstappen is told by his engineeer.

Lewis Hamilton doesn't need to take risks with Kimi Raikkonen for the victory. If he finishes second, and Sebastian Vettel is further down, that is a good result for him.

Another one gone for Sebastian Vettel. Second to 18th to now ninth. Fair to say it's been eventful for Vettel. His next target is Sergio Perez, so you would expect the German to get past him in a quite straightforward fashion.
