Lewis Hamilton, the race winner: "These guys have worked so hard over the past six years, it's been an incredible journey. This is what we've worked for every single day. Max Verstappen, who was knocked off from the race lead by Ocon, says: "We did everything today. He [Ocon] was such an idiot he gets taken out while he's being lapped.

I think the race was better than expected for us today. The car worked well. The strategy worked well. I'm happy with second, but we should have won today.

Kimi Raikkonen, who came third says: "Yeah it was good, not easy but there was some battling so it was fun.

My tyre [strategy] was good but it was difficult to pass and it took too long, I don’t know."

Angry Man: That was a stupid move by Ocon but let's be honest, Verstappen has done many stupid and dangerous moves, this was karma.

Ashraque: I really feel Ocon deserved a grid penalty and stewards should use more discretion since the in race penalty cost him nothing! No wonder Ayrton Senna took matters into his own hands with Irvine.
